Guest guest
Hi , I am currently on my third month of Doxy for LD but on a lower 200 mg dose as I live in AZ and my doc is cautious of the sun sensitivity. So...lower dose, but extended time. Like you I am feeling better in many ways. The joint aches are less, I have more energy and my mood has lightened, but I still get the biting sensation!! And yes, I have had that sensation on my feet as well. When I mentioned it to the doc, he said that was the bacteria in the blood/nerve cells, as they invade all tissue in the body. It is so frustrating as I want to get better in ALL areas, but my doc says to just give it time, and that will go away as well. If you are feeling better in other areas, then you know things are working. Stay strong...I know it's hard!! Taz > > I need help. I'm currently treating for LD with Doxy and Rifampin for the last 2 months. I was wondering if anyone one here has experienced a symptom like the following: I get a sensation of a bite on the feet only which can last about 10-20 seconds... yesterday the sensation increased in frequency. The biting sensation could be with socks on and can be any time of the day... it is a pain that only lasts for a maybe 20 seconds, then goes away. Yesterday I put an antifungal on my feet 2x and wondering if it could be associated with fungus. I somehow don't think it is mites biting but actually something under the skin. I'm doing much better in so many ways, but this particular symptom really has not gotten better. > > > Any help any of you can give me would be greatly appreciated. > > > >

Guest guest
Taz- If you have skin sensations make sure you're doctor knows how to treat bartonella. Doxy won't be enough. Guest guest
Hi Taz,Thank you for the support! I was kinda discouraged about it since I expected that the symptoms on the feet would go away with the antibiotics, so I spent part of last night going through all the things I could try once again to try to get rid of that symptom once and for all. Although I was sad to hear that you have that too, it helped to know that your doctor thinks eventually that will go away as well. My husband gets it too (I forgot to mention) although not very often. I think maybe after Thanksgiving I'll start doing the MMS baths again. There are things to try... I know I have fungal issues on the feet too, so that could play into it.From: "Mabel Muriel" <tazmaniacaboy@...>bird mites Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2011 7:10:02 AMSubject: Re: Biting SensationsHi ,I am currently on my third month of Doxy for LD but on a lower 200 mg dose as I live in AZ and my doc is cautious of the sun sensitivity. Guest guest
Hey - I used to get that, too and was on the same meds as you. I think it just takes time. I did start using a dry brush before showing (great for skin and moves the lymph along) and I use it on my feet - that helps a ton. Also, when I was symptomatic on my feet I used an overnight foot cream with peppermint in it. I think it might have been made by Dr. Sholls or something. I will see if I can find it to pass along the correct brand. My dr. just added amoxicillin to my meds and I can't believe what a difference it has made. My brain fog has cleared for the first time since this mitemare began. We've got to celebrate the small successes! > > I need help. Guest guest
Hi , I find when my body is pushing that sandy toxin stuff out, it can sting. Maybe the passage through the skin pore? It happens a lot during a hertz. Not much in between though. Could be a good sign. Do you feel to see what's at the site? I usually find a grain of sand like thing or a round ball. None of which I can see with my eyes , but I feel and wipe away with a p towel. Put some virgin olive oil on your skin for bed. It sucks stuff out in a most impressive way. Guest guest
Me also, but almost gone after having taken Doxy for one month. I am going back to anti-fungal now as abx does not agree with the sunlight in my holidays. Guest guest
I don't know, . I feel something, olive leaf finds the fungus coming out. The feather feeling is when the thread like branches are thrown across the skin. Remove. Hair movement always yields this fungal grow, too. Again, can't be felt without the olive leaf mud on fingers. The kilt is now full of moth holes, but I keep it. We used to like to go to the ish games here. Husband loves Scotland and the bag pipe music (he is Jewish, go figure).
