Guest guest Posted November 9, 2011 Report Share Posted November 9, 2011 Full Moon Flare Up? http://lymebites.com/blog/2010/06/25/full-moon-flare-up/ , , Nani and I were having a pow-wow this evening and discussing how things were going this week when the question was asked, did we think we were gearing up for a flare up with the full moon approaching this Saturday night. I personally believe this does in fact happen. I had heard it a lot in the beginning of my illness, but never paid it much attention until I started keeping track a few months ago and realized I did in fact start to feel worse as the full moon approached, with the day of the full moon being the worst. Luckily, our resident Lyme writer (and Lyme fighter) had written about this last year so we are reposting what she had written. The original post can be accessed here. Guest guest Posted November 11, 2011 Report Share Posted November 11, 2011 Thank you Krys, most days I am relatively fine now, but the days around the full moon I am getting attacked. Last Mnday night has been the worst. Sprayed repellent all over me to be able to go to sleep. One good thing is, that the bites are not as painful as they used to be. Also their appearance has changed. They do look like mozzie bites now. Wish they were... ;-) How is your mum doing meanwhile. Is she alright ?
