Guest guest
Sometimes antidepressants help, they helped me a little. Once I treated the Bartonella I went off all psychiatric meds. It took one year. Make sure your LLMD knows how to diagnose coinfections WITHOUT testing. You won't get better without treating fungus, parasites and coinfections- most commonly Bartonella and Babesia. That's great you're seeing an LLMD. I am being treated and getting better.AandrayaOn Nov 10, 2011, at 1:54 PM, lissarachel <elissarachel@...> wrote: LLMD appointment is 12/1. Guest guest
Yeah, right, and tell your GP about chronic vector borne infections. They must be diagnosed clinically by someone who is familiar with them. Don't let ANY doctor tell you you've got no infections. How do they know!? Guest guest
I guess if it were me I'd wait to see your LLMD first... but have to admit I finally caved and am on low dose anti-depressant now too. I've also been on St. 's Wort for years... the psychiatrist I see once every 2 years said actually St. 's Wort is a SSRI - it is PROZAC. I don't know if he is correct. Guest guest
Cecilia- Nightsweats are classic babesia. If you take the herb artemisia annua(artimisinin) Biopure in Europe has it) you'll know if you have it because the symptoms will be more pronounced. The sweats will increase! Yes, sinus pain is classic for Babesia too and fatigue is a given. Artemisia also treats Lyme. The famous trifecta is Lyme(Borrelia), bartonella, and babesia. Do you have anxiety or obsessive thinking type symptoms? What about the crawling sensations? That's bartonella.Aandraya On Nov 10, 2011, at 2:07 PM, Cecilia Borg <ceciliaborg@...> wrote: Aandraya!Would you say tiredness, stuffed sinuses , nightsweats would be symptoms of bartonella or babesia? Guest guest
Hi,  When I went to my PCP in Sept. asking for a refill on Valium he and another physician told me to go to the ER for a psych consult and I spent 5 nights on the psych floor. They told me I was " delusional " and tried to make me take Risperdal. I had to pretend to swallow the pill under my tongue and then spit it out.  Personally, I would not take anything unless absolutely necessary. Yes, we are all depressed to some degree, but I'm still able to function.  God bless,  On Thu, Nov 10, 2011 at 2:54 PM, lissarachel <elissarachel@...> wrote:  LLMD appointment is 12/1.Went to an annual physical with my primary care today...says no infection just severely depressed.gave me an anti-depressant. Guest guest
I brought this up to my kids pediatrician today. She said I need to get passed the feeling of something crawling on me. She said once you get bites or have excema you can have that sensation. When I mentioned Lyme Disease she said I know for a fact you don't have to worry about that since it wasn't a tick. So frustrating. I would think I would take the antidepressant if it can help you deal with this maybe easier. I wouldn't think it could hurt. Guest guest
Haha! Get past the feeling of crawling on you! Yeah, just get past it already! Unbelievable! And how does your doctor know you never had a tick on you! Most with Lyme don't know when they got bitten including myself! Plus, there are many insects that carry Lyme! Guest guest
Hi, I just wanted to tell you that antidepressants are addicting b/c I have been on them b4. The docs say they are not, but I had a heck of a time getting off of them. It took me 6 months to quit amitriptyline and I felt suicidal a few times.  Anyway, if you get hooked on antidepressants you have to go back to your doc for refills and he will be evaluating your mental status and thus you are giving him more control over you. Anytime you get bites, etc. he can decide you are delusional and then tell you that you need a psych eval and if you are unlucky you can wind up on antipsychotic meds and if you could be prescribed Risperdal. It is a bad drug that will make you feel like u r crazy...I have been there and done that. Thank God I had sense enough not to take it. The best antidepressants are good food, sunshine, family, friends, Jesus, the Bible, good books. I think it is learning to live even with the problems.

No crawling sensations anymore either (thank god!)My 8 year old has had headaches 4 times this autumn (never had it before, but her father has occasional migrane) and she gets some few lesions spread out on her body now and then. The 2 year old has a lot of what they say is eczema. THat goes away with a mild cortison-creme though.I am really scared that the whole family has gotten lyme or somehing like it from the bird mite bites.I have been in contact with the eurolyme group, and they have given me the info to a Swedish borrelia-cooperation, but they don´t have any helpl. Guest guest
My husband said you just have to prove you can't afford the med. If you put forth a good case for yourself they give it for free. Otherwise they discount it based upon what you can afford. The companies fear looking bad if they don't make it affordable to people who need it. On Nov 11, 2011 7:46 PM, " Elissa " <elissarachel@...> wrote:Aandraya...you are so right!!! Guest guest
You are absolutely right ! This is the reason why I never took any anti-depressants. Been suicidal for about one year. Von: <terelynjon@...>An: bird mites Gesendet: 16:44 Freitag, 11.November 2011 Betreff: Re: Another diagnosis..."it's in your head" Hi, I just wanted to tell you that antidepressants are addicting b/c I have been on them b4.
