Unfortunately there is no Lyme literate doctors here... Have searched the internet for it, but none in Sweden what I can find...Can´t afford going to Germany, which would be the place for it. (because selling our house with a big loss and throwing everything out made us poor)Thanks anyway.CeciliaFrom: Aandraya <aandraya@...>"bird mites "

Hi ,Aggi!Great to hear a report from you.

Here is even colder around 5degrees C, but a clear fine day:)

I am really glad to year you´re so well and are not bothered by the mites anymore. Superb!

My 8-year old has some staph-lesions on and off, but they are only small blisters and heal quickly with the bleach-baths.

Otherwise she is healthy now. My 2 year old has a starnge skin after all this and sometimes gets small blisters as well, but that doesn´t seem to be staph.

They disappear normally after a week.

She is also healthy otherwise, so I´m really glad about it.

I don´t get much bothered anymore either. Occasional itching at the scalp, but that is I guess normal and I guess a leftover from the times when it was a lot from the mites. It keeps getting better and I haven´t had any bites for months (crossing my fingers).

Take care Aggi!

Hi Guys,

Just felt like sending you all a big, warm hug, because here in Germany the temperature has dropped down to 13° C and today it has just been dreadful outside, raining cats and dogs ;-) Have been missing you, but haven't got much to report. Just keep taking the Itraconazole patiently and watch myself getting better. I do not get bothered much by mites anymore, some occasional bites still, but they are not that much attracted to me any longer. I am so grateful for having my life back, it feels odd now, sitting somewhere and not getting attacked by the monsters or going to bed without the usual preparation rituals.

I so much hope you will all be able to find your "magic bullet", keep crossing my fingers !!

My boyfriend just had his nose done... no beauty op, but polyps removed :-) After 3 hours he could leave the hospital already and that after having been knocked out. I found that extremely remarkable plus he is healing really, really well. The only thing is that they could grow back quickly, so let's hope for the best.

P.S. Still keep up cleaning and washing procedures, just in case ...

Hi, !Happy to hear it´s getting better with the crawling sensations. Bleach baths wouldn´t take care of that, but it really has helped us to lessen the staph, so if that´s what you have I would give it a try. 3 times a week one 3/4 tub of water with 1 cup of clorine.

Take care!

Hi Cecilia,

Yes, it is a beautiful thing that Krys's mum is getting support from her hubbie... that is so right... we say here in our marriage vows,"for better or for worse" and I do believe that. I'm still getting little sores too still and I've got the biofilm - I wonder how much of it is staph and how much is other stuff, other bacterias, etc. I haven't tried the bleach baths as I've been too busy trying to figure out what I'm doing with all the Lyme treatment, but the crawling sensations are quite a bit less than they were. It is diminishing and it has only been 2 weeks on the meds.

It is just good to hear all of your "voices" - you all are always in my thoughts.

Aggi: I so wish I were in Germany right now... everything is so beautiful there with the autumn right around the corner. It is a sight to behold. Sigh...

Hi, Krys!I´m glad it´s not too bad for your mum. I hope she get´s the house sold soon. Also great that your stepfather is "on the track" helping with the spraying.

My daughter is not completely healed and some of us other family members gets a small staff-lesion once in a while, but it´s nott too bad. Only small blisters and not big lesions. We keep going with bleach-baths and it sort of keeps it down, even if it hasn´t cured it totally.

It sometimes gets to my head: Can it be mites anyway, but we don´t feel crawlings and bitings, so it just shouldn´t be. I guess after having to deal with the mites for a long time, they stay "in your brain" for a while...

Thanks for answering and say hello to your mum.

Hi Cecilia,

Kind of you to ask after my mum. Thank you.

Things with my mother are currently not too bad, but my stepfather is spraying heavily on a regular basis. I think they're more like holding their own rather than really solving the problem.

The house hasn't sold as yet; I'm surprised really because it is in quite a saleable area being countryish, yet within easy commuting distance of London.

How is your daughter's staph infection? I hope the doctors have managed to get rid of it for her.

Take care,

The bird mites D. gallinae or O. Sylvarium are visible to the naked eye, even the nymphs, albeit very small & kind of transparent/skin colour, are visible if you get them in the right light; the adults are about the size of a grain of salt; they look like tiny specks which move. Mites, ticks etc. are acarids; beetles, collembola etc. are insects.

If the specks move they could be mites, if they do not move they are probably something else, possibly fungal related.

My sister is so sick and can hardly drive at 73 years old and has macular degeneration too. Her husband is blind in one eye and can't drive. My niece who lives nearby had a car accident a few years ago and will not drive on the highways anymore. Also, sister's husband is so cheap... he controls the money they have. He has always done that and she has been too ill almost all of her adult life to fight him. We visited them this summer in Oregon and believe me, he is cheap! He won't let her have a debit card. He gives her cash to buy groceries. She does not have access to a checkbook either. They live modestly and she has never over spent. There are so many hurdles, but I am sending her information packet in the mail today so she can make up her own mind, sending her Mapquest directions to get to 2 different

doctors (naturopaths) who are ILADS trained and a 35 page article by Dr. Burrascano called Advanced Topics in Lyme Disease; Diagnostic Hints and Treatment Guidelines for Lyme and other Tick Borne Illnesses. There are only 2 naturopaths in Oregon that treat Lyme Disease. I spoke to one doctor yesterday. Because my sister has MediCare Igenex will not allow her to be tested with their kit without going through a MD. There is no MD in Oregon that would give approval for her to be tested by Igenex. HI, Krys!Lyme is called Borrelia in Sweden, is it so in the UK as well. It has become more and more common here, and even in the southern "non-forresty" areas. We have another infection that you can get from ticks that gives brain-inflammatory problems, that you can get a vaccine for.Take care!Cecilia From: Krys Brennand <krys109uk@...>bird mites Sent: Friday, October 14, 2011 8:13 PMSubject: Re: Aggi

I don't think Lyme disease is at all common in Europe. I suggested Lyme to my mother & sounded as if she thought I'd gone mad. She said was rare in UK usually only found in the New Forest area (Hampshire in the south of England). I'd never heard of Lyme prior to living in USA; I didn't even know what ticks were when I first saw them.

I'm not sure that one can assume that everyone with these symptoms necessarily have Lyme. It may be a frequent co-infection but I'm pretty sure the fungal infections can be independent of Lyme.

Try Banderol and Samento tinctures from the Cowden protocol, these work for Lyme and Bartonella. Lyme and Bart usually are seen together.AandrayaOn Oct 15, 2011, at 6:06 AM, Cecilia Borg <ceciliaborg@...> wrote:

I just wish I knew the answer to that Cecilia. I think this stuff on your daughter is not just external, but internal as well, but I don't know the source of it. I pray that she and your family do not have Lyme... just wondering myself. There was a study recently that said that even some dust mites can carry Bartonella, but I had Lyme Disease pre-existing birdmites. It may be that when we got the infestation that we got the Bartonella later because my symptoms changed after exposure to the mites.

Take care,

Cecilia

Take care,

Krys

The bird mites D. gallinae or O. Sylvarium are visible to the naked eye, even the nymphs, albeit very small & kind of transparent/skin colour, are visible if you get them in the right light; the adults are about the size of a grain of salt; they look like tiny specks which move. Mites, ticks etc. are acarids; beetles, collembola etc. are insects.

If the specks move they could be mites, if they do not move they are probably something else, possibly fungal related.

If the specks move they could be mites, if they do not move they are probably something else, possibly fungal related.

ps

good story :

This gives you goose bumps

An Angel Walked the Beat Tonight

A drunk man in an Oldsmobile

They said had run the light

That caused the six-car pileup

On 109 that night.

When broken bodies lay about

And blood was everywhere,

The sirens screamed out elegies,

For death was in the air.

mother, trapped inside her car,

Was heard above the noise;

Her plaintive plea near split the air:

" Oh, God, please spare my boys! "

She fought to loose her pinned hands;

She struggled to get free

But mangled metal held her fast

In grim captivity.

Her frightened eyes then focused

On where the back seat once had been,

But all she saw was broken glass and

Two children's seats crushed in.

Her twins were nowhere to be seen;

She did not hear them cry,

And then she prayed they'd been thrown free,

" Oh, God, don't let them die! "

Then firemen came and cut her loose

But when they searched the back,

They found therein no little boys,

But the seat belts were intact.

They thought the woman had gone mad

And was traveling alone,

But when they turned to question her,

They discovered she was gone.

Policemen saw her running wild

And screaming above the noise

In beseeching supplication,

" Please help me find my boys!

They're four years old and wear blue shirts;

Their jeans are blue to match. "

One cop spoke up, " They're in my car,

And they don't have a scratch.

They said their daddy put them there

And gave them each a cone,

Then told them both to wait for Mom

To come and take them home.

I've searched the area high and low,

But I can't find their dad.

He must have fled the scene,

I guess, and that is very bad. "

The mother hugged the twins and said,

While wiping at a tear,

" He could not flee the scene, you see

For he's been dead a year. "

The cop just looked confused and asked,

" Now, how can that be true? "

The boys said, " Mommy, Daddy came

And left a kiss for you.

He told us not to worry

And that you would be all right,

And then he put us in this car with

The pretty, flashing light.

We wanted him to stay with us,

Because we miss him so,

But Mommy, he just hugged us tight

And said he had to go.

He said someday we'd understand

And told us not to fuss,

And he said to tell you, Mommy,

He's watching over us. "

The mother knew without a doubt

That what they spoke was true,

For she recalled their dad's last words,

" I will watch over you. "

The firemen's notes could not explain

The twisted, mangled car,

And how the three of them escaped

Without a single scar.

But on the cop's report was scribed,

In print so very fine,

An angel walked the beat tonight

On Highway 109.

" He who has a thousand friends has not a friend to spare . "

Hi Aggi,

Yes, I am so glad we have made it almost through the full moon phase.  Now that I'm living at my parent's house, I didn't know what to expect.  I had 1 weird experience where I felt that the bugs got in bed from my feet (from the carpet) and hopped to my private area.  I tried to explain that to my mother, but she could not believe it.  She does not believe the feelings I experience.  I'm staying out of my car, just getting in her car now and still have a problem with shoes.  I read on Shanspirations.org to use DE on shoes and carpet.

Has anyone tried the menthol crystals?  Where did you buy them?

I have to be careful about what I use over there now that I'm not in my own home.  But it is better for me too.

Thank you Cecilia, that's nice of you -) The mite problem is almost nothing compared to what I have had for about 2 years. There are days I almost forget about them. I had a fantastic weekend with occasional bites, which I can handle easily. The week around full moon is the only time I am still getting attacked and sometimes badly like this time. There were also a few full moons where the problem was not present at all.  This whole subject is so strange and complex and goes way over my head. All I know is that the anti/fungal was key to getting the problem under control. I am also taking ABX now to get rid of whatever is left in my body - hopefully...

I am really looking forward to my holidays. Will try and go diving again. The last time is about 10 years ago, but I guess it is like riding a bike and you don't lose it. Also, staying under water for about an hour should wash out everything in my follicles that might be still living there :-)

How is your situation Cecilia. I keep reading your mails and the status of your girls. Are they okay ?  Have you been able to replace the things you need in your home. I can hardly imagine how that must have been for you to dump every single thing. But at least you kept the most precious: Your family and your health !

Hello , just catching up with some old mails...

I am very very happy that you are doing better ! I have also started taking Doxy since for many here it has really worked to beat the infections and thus get rid of the mites. I can recall Zoe and Rose and maybe some more. Aandraya's advice is to add Bactrim, which I am going to order next week. Gosh, this is all sooo expensive...  feeling like a little junkie right now getting more pleassure ordering drugs than clothes, LOL. I am also still struggling with that biofilm in my hair, it is still on one side only, but it makes me kind of crazy not being able to get it off. I have ordered a biofilm remover online. Today I have dissolved a little bit in warm water and applied it to hair and scalp. Going to repeat this procedure for the next couple of weeks twice a day and see what happens. Is your scalp and skin also itchy where that film is ??

I've been also reading your comment about x-mas markets and indian summer in Germany. We are having an exceptional beautiful one this year, blue sky and sunshine every day for weeks now. I won't see much of the x-mas markets though as from 8th to 22nd December we are flying off to Egypt.

This trip is a birthday present of my boyfriend, isn't that cute :-)

I hope you have overcome your depressive days . There is so much you have to deal with and I think you have the blody right to be down

now and then. You are giving everyone here hope and courage regardless of your own poor state of health and I think you are just a wonderful person !

So good to hear you again!  Wow, it really sounds like you are doing well and it makes me happy to hear it. I think it is internal too now, but it sure feels like it is on the outside of the skin, doesn't it.  I've had fewer sensations since starting doxycycline and Rifampin for bartonella.  I may have other coinfections too.  Not sure at this point.  Anyways, I am so happy you are doing so well.  Keep up the good work.  Sorry to hear that your boyfriend had to have the polyps removed, and hope it is his last incident with those.  How in the world did they find them?

Hi, Aggi!

I´m happy that you´re mostly well! I just hope you will be 100% very soon.

Diving sounds great.

My girls have lesions, but the small ones disapear with mild cortisoncreme and they say it´s eczema.

The 8year old gets few lesions and they are red around with a small blister in the middle. She also has headaches now and then, that she never used to have.

They don´t know what it is, so it seems it can be some conifection as a left over from the mites.

At least we don´t feel any crawlings. I only have extreme tiredness (but that might also be a leftover from all the fighting against the mites), stuffed sinus at night and some nightsweats + higher heartrate than usual.

Hard to know. We are looking into trying to get private tests done from Germany, but we hardly have any money left, so it´s not easy.

We are now living in a small flat instead of in a big house. So we have only few things. All my clothes are give aways from friends and the same for the smallest girl.

Hugs

Cecilia

The bird mites D. gallinae or O. Sylvarium are visible to the naked eye, even the nymphs, albeit very small & kind of transparent/skin colour, are visible if you get them in the right light; the adults are about the size of a grain of salt; they look like tiny specks which move. Mites, ticks etc. are acarids; beetles, collembola etc. are insects.

If the specks move they could be mites, if they do not move they are probably something else, possibly fungal related.

Cecilia

Take care,

Krys

Just wanted to know how your mum is doing? Has she succeeded in selling her house?

Send her my warm thoughts!

Sandy-

The mites are microscopic. The specks you are seeing are not insects, more likely fungal in nature or biproducts of an infection or infestation. Are you being treated internally? The cleaning and heating will calm the symptoms temporarily, but you also need to treat chronic infections. The bugs are attracted to you.
