Guest guest
What white stuff? Here in VA, we have tornado watches and rain (which we really do need). Cloudy and in the upper 60's earlier today, so I planted peas and some shrubs. However, our oldest was trying to fly back to NY this evening. Her plane to JFK got cancelled, she got sent to Cincinnati only to have the connecting leg to NY cancelled again. I gather it's really bad in NY. Oh, well, at least they gave her a free room and a meal. ; ) Judi _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of kelly Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2008 8:03 PM 'Jan Marie'; Subject: RE: Weather That's just wrong. Guest guest
This was the local Meadows nursery. It always closes right after xmas and opens on March 1-trees, shrubs & some perennials, tho' I'm not sure they would be safe quite yet given the tricky weather. At half price, I'll baby them. We had very little snow this year too-barely covered the ground when it did. Disappointing. Of course, now that I planted things. . .
