Some people have a greater ability because of their liver to detox. I think it is important to have the sludge come out. I wish it were coming out of me. I saw my LLMD (or I should say had phone consult). She started me on Doxy again, Rifampin, new enzymes.. trying to keep it simple. I feel like crap today and yesterday, so I'd say part of it is herxing. I think this is dead disease, and I think a good sign because my body is healing. It's so much more now- the sludge, since starting Levaquin and now even more when I added Doxy. I used the Arm and Hammer detergent baths often (contains sodium carbonate which is washing soda) and had grey areas on the bottom of the tub below the areas that my legs normally would be. At first I thought that the A & H plus hydrogen peroxide were damaging the surface of the tub, but later found that the 'greyness' was coming out of me. I never had any grey blobs coming out of my skin, perhaps because of the baths, but eventually did have white fibers come out en masse.

Sorry you feel bad. Why don't you try a bath. The Arm and Hammer Super Soda wash contains 99.98% soda where as the soda you buy at the store contains around 70% soda.

Does anyone know how long you have to take doxy and the anit fungal for it to start working?

It will start working right away, but I got worse before I got better. I was on Doxy and Bactrim with a few others mixed in at different points- Mepron, Malerone, Artemisinin, Ceftin, Rifampin, Allicin... within 1 year all bugs were gone, then added in Levaquin, Itraconazole, Voriconazole another 6 months and no more mold spores in my skin, now I've added back in Mepron, Doxy again, Artemisinin... still on Levaquin and Voriconazole. Plus I do Klinghardt's KPU treatment and a few other supplements and a super clean diet.Car, clothes, and living environment all bug/mold free now. I cant get them out of my car, i sprinkled borax in there and it pissed them off. So i read about a jalepeno spray u can make for insects so i wonder if that will work.

Hi Marilyn, I am taking an anti-fungal for 2 weeks now and I have noticed

improvement again. I am pretty much certain, that I have a fungus in my body

that attracted the mites. I am planning to take the Itraconazole for about 2- 3

months. I was even able to stop taking the sulfur capsules.

Alot of people are gonna wake up and smell the coffee, arent they? My sons mother in law has this, i have been trying to help her but no success, she is mean to me about it. Hi Marilyn, I am taking an anti-fungal for 2 weeks now and I have noticed improvement again. I am pretty much certain, that I have a fungus in my body that attracted the mites. I am planning to take the Itraconazole for about 2- 3 months. I had problems so i took laxative for 5 yrs, and i think that is why they got in me, but i dont take that anymore, take more take flax seed oil now, learned a very valuable lesson

No, that wouldn't do it. You probably got bitten by a tick or spider or some other insect infected with Lyme. I was diagnosed 2 years ago, looking back I probably was first infected as a kid. The immune system often keeps these infections in check for a long time. Many don't get sick for 20+ years. Just so you know, it will take months to treat. Stay on the Itraconazole and Doxy until you see a Lyme literate doc. Relapse is common. It's a loooong recovery, but stay the course and you will recover fully. I am still recovering, but happy to be recovering without bugs everywhere and horrible skin lesions and weird stuff coming out of my skin. For a year it was every day, and for the last few months, it was every week moving to twice a week, and finally to waiting 3 weeks. Well, when I drained the bath last night, the bottom of the bath was covered in about 1/4 cup blue/gray sludge! My sister thinks its the die off toxins. Could be mold. Hi Marilyn, I am taking an anti-fungal for 2 weeks now and I have noticed improvement again. I am pretty much certain, that I have a fungus in my body that attracted the mites.
