-You don't need to tell the doc you have birdmites, they won't know what to do about it anyway. Once you get your immune system a notch up by getting your infection load down the mites will gradually go away. This has been my experience. It took about a year. Also, Lyme is a clinical diagnosis, even the CDC says testing is for surveillance only. Find an experienced LLD that knows about Morgellons and that has plenty of experience treating Lyme coinfections: Bartonella and Babesia. The only way I could afford all the meds is by having insurance, yes they are so expensive. Do you have skin symptoms- debris coming out of your skin? If so, there is a chronic fungal infection, tell the doctor others with the same symptoms have had success with antifungals like itraconazole and voriconazole.... that's how I got my LLD to prescribe it to me. If you can't do the pharmaceuticals I'd suggest high doses of pau de arco and allicin for the fungal infections. What area do you live in? I have contacts for Lyme literate doctors all over the country. Just because they say they're Lyme literate doesn't mean they have a lot of experience treating these complicated infections.AandrayaOn Sep 6, 2011, at 1:24 PM, Aggi wrote: What a small world it sometimes is, :) I am in the process of finding a LLD in my area, but again I am scared of telling about the mites since I have had very bad experience when telling my story to any doctor. I have also checked the prices for Itraconazole, Gosh, it is so expensive, about 40 USD for 15 100 mg capsules. I can't really afford, I would need to take 4 per day it says, and this for several months. Did your LLD prescribe them for you or did you pay yourself? Thanks Andraya,

I am in a normal life now. I am 99.9% clear and have been on the Intraconazole for 2 months now. My doctor is the one in the article, "Reifsnyder". He apparently is a LLD. Mites and bugs don't bother me. The recent set back I had was because I got my things out of storage and the fungus from the items got into and reinfected my car. I've been treating it and it is safe again. Will continue the treatment for 3 more weeks to be sure. The beetle tried to start the cycle with me again born from the fungus in the car but I knew how to beat it. Life is beautiful, and the weather invigorating. I hope to report all cured in a few weeks to a month. Thanks for all the advice. I do intend to talk to the Dr. about Lyme as I had a paralized neck for a day when I was 6 years and again when I was 35 years. Could be related.

Hi Aggi,

I take 100 mg of Intraconazole once a day. It is expensive, but insurance covers most of the cost so it costs me $20 for 2 weeks. I do believe the mites will leave you alone once you get the infection out of your blood. Aandray and I are both on the Intraconazole and doing well. I keep reading the symptoms of Lyme and don't think I've got it but Aandray says she does. Either way, I think the intraconazole is good.

Love and light,

-That's great to hear! I'm on my way with quite a ways to go yet. I did 3 months 200mg Itraconazole, just switched to Voriconazole to see how that works. Plus I'm on abx for Babesia, Borrelia, and Bartonella.Aandraya On Sep 6, 2011, at 5:08 PM, Benton <sarahbenton48@...> wrote:

Hi Aandraya,

I am interested in how the Voriconazole works. I read a case where 4 months of the Intraconazole didn't quite do it for a boy so he ended up on 3 months of the Voriconazole and got better. My meds don't run out uintil Oct. 17th when I see dr. again. Must see what he says.

-I've been on Voriconazole for 1 week. I had a slight Herx on it, but nothing like the Itraconazole(I'm sure my infection load was much higher back then). I'll keep you updated on how it's going, and feel free to ask me again.AandrayaOn Sep 7, 2011, at 5:03 PM, Benton <sarahbenton48@...> wrote:
