Guest guest
Thank you very much. The very first day,i saw some spontaeous parallel play and fighting with peers.I am thrilled and waiting to see how things shape up!!!!! Rajee Rash Do all kids break out in a rash when using Valtrex.I`m on day 4 and no rash.My son seemed to be doing good no regression for first two days, but then i started to treat for yeast. So i think the regression is yeast die-off.I`m going to let up on treating for yeast to see if thats what is causing the regression.Funny thing is when i was giving him Cumanda he had skin erruptions. Also when i chelated using cilantro and chlorella he broke out in hives twice a day.On Valtrex he has no skin erruptions so far.I started giving my 11 month old daughter small dose of Cumanda and cilantro and chlorella and she has a rash.At first it looked like eczema. Now she has red raised dots on her leg.She has had no vaccines, but i`m sure i passed some things like Lyme and maybe other viruses. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Tina Carlisi Ultima Real Estate 13604 Midway Road Suite 183 Dallas, Texas 75244 (Cell) 214-213-2877 (Fax) 469-467-6734 (Home) 469-467-6733 gets better. Guest guest
Is she on any antibiotics at this time? They can get a rash like that too. Jonah used to get them a lot with penicillins. He did have the " viral " version a few times as well, little pinpoint dots everywhere! Took a few days, but eventually faded away. Hopefully in a day or so it'll be all gone. -- RASH Has anyone experienced their child getting a rash after a fever. My (3 ) started breaking out in a rash Thursday. It started on her face (red and with small fine bumps)and is now spreading over her whole body. We took her to the pediatrician Friday and she said it's probably viral. Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything similar and how long it lasted. Thanks, ('s mom 3 )

Guest guest
" My son has a rash now. On his face, chest and back. It is small, Fine, slightly red bumps, it almost looks like a heat rash. I am a Nurse, although I stay home now and have for years. I have never Been good with rashes. He had a fever episode last week and the rash Has been there for several days. Sue [Mom to Jon Mark 10yo] " Sounds very similar to the " viral " rashes we experienced. They never seemed to bother him horribly and just took 3-5 days to go away. I hope this is the case for you and it fades quickly. It's definitely scary to see things like that just take over your childs skin!
Guest guest
Carie, That sounds like a virus coming out to me (rash " on the trunk " is usually how it is described). - itsallaboutkreed@... wrote: Hi, my son had IVIG on Nov. 27th. for about a week now he has has a rash on his chest, and sides. If it were a reaction then you would think that it would be over more of his body. Thanks Carie Vercelli --------------------------------- Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited. Guest guest
I should add the way this was explained to me... When the body's detoxification organs get overwhelmed by an immune response towards a virus, the body begins to use the organ that is sometimes referred to as the 3rd kidney (the skin) to remove the virus -- hense the skin rash. That's why some of the smarter doctors I know won't ever give a suppressing agent for a rash (steroid cream), as you are likely preventing the bad stuff from getting out. - Rob or Sunseri <RobRose@...> wrote: Carie, That sounds like a virus coming out to me (rash " on the trunk " is usually how it is described). - itsallaboutkreed@... wrote: Hi, my son had IVIG on Nov. 27th. for about a week now he has has a rash on his chest, and sides. Guest guest
Thanks for the responses. It's nothing like my " normal " Still's rash with the exception it's red and angry. Doesn't itch. I went to a dermatologist (prepare for a small rant) after a couple of days because it was spreading. The guy looked at it and told me I needed to take a bath twice a day in a prescriptive soap and that red spreading rashes weren't typically rheumatologically based. Huh? So I tried to explain about Still's and he became very insistant that he knew what the rash was, and it wasn't that. I tried to tell him that I physically can't get in/out of the bathtub following my back surgery, and he refused to even let me finish a sentence. ) Another one of those doctors - and I've had my share of them. So I just smiled, took the prescriptions he gave me, left the office and asked the receptionist to throw them away on my way out. It wasn't very nice, but I just had it with the guy. I think this disease process has left me less tolerant with uncaring physicians. So I called my darling rheumy and he told me to go ahead with the medrol dose pack, and I thought I'd put it off until the next day as I didn't want to drive back to town (I live in the country). Well, by morning I was in the more physical stages of a flare. So the dose pack worked (again). I had been out in the sun very, very briefly but I've tried to be careful with that. I was told that I have a sun " allergy " and don't know if it's related to Still's or not. I think it's a UV allergy. Thanks so much for the answers. It is such a relief to know that I have a support system like this. I never realized how much I appreciated the list until this happened - see, my hubby was out of the country on business, my closest friends were gone on business and another a funeral, and my parents were out of town. So I was feeling pretty lonely. Thanks again,

Guest guest
This has happened to Melody occasionally since she started fevering. The first time it happened in the ER for and the doctors wittnessed it was gone before we left. At first I thought it was connected to just being in the ER or doctor's office, but I've recently seen it happen at home. Guest guest
My daughter did get hives one time. Luckily, it was before our diagnosis and we were on the way to the urgent care with a 105 fever. As soon as we walked into the patient room - the doctor said " Hives " - just give X amount of Benedryl. Before we even gave the Benedryl they were gone (but we went ahead and gave it, not knowing whether or not they itched - and didn't want her miserable during the night). She slept well that night. Hers were in large splotches not an all over " rash " . The splotches (several inches long and a couple inches wide (from my recollection)) were raised up. I can't recall if they were hot. BUT - she got them after she had the fever, not before. Ginger Daughter - le, 3 years old (fevering since 7 months, diagnosed at 15 months, T & A on 12/11/07, Fever-free since 11/16/07) Son - Jay, 16 months old ----------------------------------------- ==================================================== This message contains PRIVILEGED and CONFIDENTIAL information that is intended only for use by the named recipient.
