Guest guest
Dear Dick, I doubt that ozone is more active at higher temperatures. Ozone is converted back to oxygen by heat, so the concentration falls over time (and distance). In water cleaning, ozone is employed at near 4 degrees C, which is very cold, and it has no problem in doing its job very thoroughly, and at very low concentrations (1 ug/ml). Because of sweat flushing outward in the body's reaction to heat stress, more unoxidized toxins are carried to the skin with the ozone sauna than other methods. This accounts for the markedly higher incidence and intensity of the red rash, compared to other transdermal methods (such as limb bagging). Best of health! STILL the rash is mostly on upper body. I wonder > if there is something else going on here? Is it possible that the steam is blowing the ozone away from your legs? At what point does the rash stop on your uppper arms in relation to your upper body? Is it a sweat gland issue, or a fat issue that varies with each person. Nobody knows for sure I think. > > Also when you said ozone is more reactive on hot skin, what do you mean by > " reactive " ? Ozone by definition is a corrosive. I know of no acid or alkaline that is not more active in higher temperatures. I only assume the same holds true with ozone. Guest guest
Randy, I have had an ongoing rash since I was about 3 months post op. It is mostly on the sides of my face and my chest. Mine however does NOT itch. It is just annoying. I have tried oodles of things to get rid of it - nothing has worked. NOw that I am done losing weight it has settled down quite a bit and I am no longer bothered by it too much. hugs, cindy lee in fort worth texa > Has anyone had any trouble with rashes since having the GRDS? Guest guest
Dear Robb, There's the answer. At 1 liter per minute you are making very little ozone. Try 1/2 liter/minute. Best of health! Guest guest
I did DAILY saunas for 19 days before I got the rash. Then I got it BIG TIME. I am sure mine was the worst rash ever (I know we all say that).... I think its getting better. After the rash began I could only do a sauna every 7 days or it was unbearable. Now I can do it every 4 days.......

Guest guest
No rash? Give it time -- I mean more time! It took me about 6 months of 3-4x/week doing ozone saunas then I started breaking out. I was taking homozon at the time and thought that was staving it off. It was very bad after the rash started and I had to stop doing the oz saunas. It was so itchy, weepy and way too uncomfortable. I can do just a few minutes of it now with the steam sauna. Don't worry, I think you have the rash to look forward to. If not, cool, maybe a rash is not your destiny!!! mkj > well....I've worked hard for a rash......and now I don't have one!!!.....LOL.......I just keep thinking nothing is happening since I don't have one........I know I'm doing it right......and I know my ozone is highly concentrated........is my body holding on to my toxic load?......somtimes I do my hyperthermia treatment in the tub and raise my temperature to 102 then I get in my nylon body suit and remove all the air from it......then I turn on the o3 at about 1 litre per min.........I know this is supposed to be alot.....but It doesn't seem to bother me...............I don't know whats going on.........Robb >

Guest guest
no......because corona is notorious for producing very strong concentrations of o3..........and I've seen and used a few other generators.........and I've tried the others on latex gloves.....which is what I read that Saul recommended another person do to tell if it was putting out o3............and I'm sure that very few people with corona generators know the concentration of their machine.............Robb Re: Rash > I don't know......I built it....but I can promise you it is stronger than most.......my chamber is 4 " I.D. and 36 " long with a corona element 4 inches wide running the entire 36 inches........the ozone will knock you down.....it is strong..........Robb > ----- Original Message ----- How do you know it is stronger than most? Guest guest
gail i never had a rash from ozone, but i wonder if urine would work. it has worked for every skin problem i encountered since i found about this therapy. i severely burned myself a few months ago and put urine on it right away. i fully expected to have very bad scarring. but a few hours later there was no pain or anything, no scarring not nothing. in the one small spot where i missed it was red for about a week. i have also used it for really bad mosquito bites and poison ivy its definitely worth a shot, maybe even in a small test area

Guest guest
, Sounds like it could be Fifth's disease (parvovirus). It normally starts on cheeks and then spreads to rest of body (why it is also called 'slapcheek'). In most kids it normally resolves in a few weeks, just like chickenpox. IF it is Fifth's, and IF you're pregnant, then make sure you visit the doctor yourself - it can lower the blood supply to the growing baby so monitoring needed. HTH Mikael Rash Hello, hope someone might help.Yesterday my son was sent home from school with a rash on his cheeks, arms, legs, chest, tummy, back and esp. bad on his bottom and hips. His teacher thought it was chicken pox but he has already had it. He is not scratching, has no fever or other symptoms. The rash looks like tiny raised red bumps. He did not ingest any unusual foods, and his skin did not come into contact with anything unusual. He is GF/CF, has epsom salt baths, and has been taking nystatin and culturelle for six weeks with nice improvements being made and no die off symptoms beyond a few red spots (larger) on his bottom. ANy ideas at all? My first thought was big yeast die off but would it not have occurred by now? Thanks in advance for any help.
