Pertusis outbreak in Ohio?

Hi everyone,

I live out of state, but, have friends in Ohio....recently one of my friends say

they were diagnosed w/Whoopping Cough (she had a really bad cough for a long

time....went to Dr and he gave her diagnosis based on the sound of the cough (no

tests run) and the 'fact' that there's supposedly an outbreak (?)).

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything? She's in NE Ohio.
