Guest guest
Funny, I was just going to send out an email about this. I was watching CNN news just now and the reporter said at the end "and that's another reason why I'm not getting a flu shot." What? I almost fell off the couch. If I didn't have the close captioning on, I wouldn't have believed what I heard. Anyway, it seems the vaccine-pushers have forgotten that they just made a stronger flu shot only this year! It's called Flu Zone high dose. Idiots. And if healthy adults only have a 59% effectiveness rate, what does that tell you about unhealthy people who presumably would have a poorer response to the vaccine? Love this: "Osterholm said previous reports have suggested that flu shots are much more effective - in the range of 70 percent to 90 percent." Suggested? What happened to scientific proof? And 70-90%? That's acceptable science? Can you imagine your child coming home with a test score like that? Guest guest
I saw this study on our local news, and at the end, they said although it was 59 % effective, that it was still effective and to still get your flu shot. Doesn't make any sense! On another note, here was the interpretation of the study from natural news. http://www.naturalnews.com/033998_influenza_vaccines_effectiveness.html Shock vaccine study reveals influenza vaccines only prevent the flu in 1.5 out of 100 adults (not 60% as you've been told) Thursday, October 27, 2011by Mike , the Health RangerEditor of NaturalNews.com (See all articles...)
