Simple Treatment for Warts

Cumulated Index Medicus, 1962

(An Easy and Painless Treatment of Warts)

It is difficult to find a wart treatment which pleases every-one, doesn’t

leave scars, and allows one to continue working normally while undergoing

treatment. Cutting, burning and freezing them are the accepted treatment,

but often are unsuitable since they are too bloody, painful or leave scars

behind.

We have perfected a means of removing warts using a well researched

disinfectant - Hydrogen Peroxide. The tech-nique is very easy. One needs a

sharp spoon, not to remove the wart, but to open the surface of the wart by

gently scraping. Do not cause bleeding by excessive scraping. Apply one drop

of 35% hydrogen peroxide onto the opened surface and let dry. After 2 days,

scrape off the dried layer and add another drop of hydrogen peroxide. After

the application the patient will feel at most a prickly sensation which will

last a few minutes. After that it could itch, but this also disappears after

a short time.

The many patients we have treated with this have had uniform good results.

It will usually take from 2 to 10 applications, depending on the size of the

wart. When it vanishes, it is gone without a trace - no scar!

P.M.

I would also think ozone cupping would do the trick.

I am not familiar with ozone cupping, but will

try the peroxide method. I've got some little

warts on my hands that seem to have proliferated

recently so it's time to go after 'em. I hope it works

as good as you say it does. I also will be taking

Monolaurin and selenium to strengthen my body

against viruses.

Thanks, and Jim.

, I should have posted the usual warnings that go with this post. 35%

H2O2 is very caustic ( please head over to the oxy. files, if you have never

handled it before). Do your treatments by a sink, so you can flush any areas

that may get an inadvertent dose.

Also I use a finger nail file (instead of a sharp spoon) or a sterilized

needle to gain H2O2 access to the wart. I apply the H2O2 with a *Q-Tip*, one

drop is usually enough.

I have been told that 3% H2O2 works also... But it takes longer to get

results.

Personally I have only used the 35% Tx. It's works exactly as stated. BTW

this little clip come from Kurt Donsbach's little book, O2 O2 O2

Becareful!,

I would think for a hand, that bagging with ozone would be a simple thing if you

have an ozone generator. Wash the area with hot water to open the pores & put

hand into a plastic bag. I use a 1 gallon freezer ziplock bag for hands & feet.

Then, insert the ozone tube in the bag & tie off above wrist. Then, with my

plasmafire generator I use 1/32 lpm flow for 30 minutes.

I would imagine Saul could give you more detailed instructions for flow rate if

he knew what kind of generator you have.

My son's physician treated the warts on his hand this way and they continued

to come back. He ended up going about once very 3 months. He had them on his

hands (both sides) and bottom of his feet. They seemed to come on in a short

period of time, pre-puberty age. The Dr. also wanted to give him some meds,

don't remember what it was though, knowing warts are viral in nature... no

med will help that.

All of the warts finally went away... if that would be correct terminology

for a viral problem. Could it be its just laying dormant in his system to

come out another way? He probably should have taken something complimentary

to this treatment to support/help his system rid itself. Its never too late

I guess... :)

I believe I read a post somewhere were someone put CS on a bandaid, keeping

it wet, and the wart just went away.

Mine always came back after cryo treatment. The best method for getting rid

of viral warts that I've found is not a single method, but a combination of

low sugar/low carb diet, supplementing with pro-biotics, and treating each

wart with some type of oxygen (I used 35% H2O2). Virus thirves on people

having a high sugar diet, I can't stress that enough. Don't keep feeding it.

My daughter had warts. She actually had them in her privates. She got

the first one when she was about four. She was not toilet trained yet

and I noticed it when changing her diaper. Then another and another

appearred until she had about a dozen. I didn't know what to do. We

took her to our Dr. and he sent us to a specialist. They checked her

out and eventually she had to have them surgically burned off. It was

very painful for her. Thankfully they have never came back.I had never

thought about it being linked to her autism. That was the first time I

had ever seen a wart and the Dr. told me it was a virus, but you have

definately got me thinking.

Plantain salve applied 3xday or under a bandade 24-7, will destroy the virus

over time and keep it from spreading. Particularly effective against

molluscum contageosum.

I can attest to the duct tape. My son had what my husband and I thought was

something that had gotten lodged under his skin. We were going to take him to

see the doctor when a friend said she thought it was a wart. So we put duct

tape on it through christmas-new year holidays. Then it turned black and I

got really worried because I thought it was dried blood. A few days latter my

son noticed that it was dry and began to peel away the dead skin and the

whole thing fell off. This was a learning experince for me and my husband as

we had never dealt with warts before.

Tea Tree essential oil is good for warts...both kind I believe. One

treatment is to apply tea tree eo neat and cover with Band-Aid.

I tried tea tree oil both diluted and neat and it had no effect on a wart on

my finger. I will probably get ripped by the " experts " for recommending

this, but I had excellent results using a few drops cedar leaf (thuja

occidentalis) essential oil mixed with vitamin E (castor oil can also be

used) and applied to the wart twice a day and covered with a band aid. It

took a little less than 2 weeks for it to completely disappear, leaving

fresh pink skin in its place and it never came back.

I should also note that it is considered to be a neurotoxin and can cause

abortion. But from what I could find, these reactions are when the oil is

taken internally, not applied externally. The amount that I used was very

small and it was not used for an extended period of time.

If you do decide to try this, be careful not to put it anywhere except on

the wart itself. Cover it completely with a band aid to prevent it from

being accidentally spread.

Good luck! :-)

My dh (age 51) had an 8mm wart on the palm of his hand he'd had since age 4.

Had tried everything - all kinds of OTC meds, EO's, home remedies, burning,

freezing, etc. If anything, it only got worse. 4 weeks of Salicilic Acid 17%

about a year ago -- the dern thing is gone.

Just heard on the radio that NIH had completed a 2 year study of wart removal.

Their greatest success (22 of 26 were 'cured' for 2 years, with no recurrence)

with -- you won't believe this -- Duct Tape.

Here's what they said. Cut the tape the size of the wart and apply. Leave on

for 6 days. Soak off, then rub lightly with an emery board or pumice. Leave

off over night. Start the whole thing again the next morning. Do this for as

many weeks as it takes (they said it would average 6 to 8 weeks), until the

thing is gone.

Well, I guess it would be worth a try.

Nan, oregano e.o. works better and faster than duct tape! My 12 year old had a

2 year battle with planters warts. Had them burned, frozen, scraped, over the

counter remedies, you name it. Approximately one week of putting straight

oregano e.o directly on the warts and letting it airdry, and they were almost

gone! Painless too! I don't know how it would work with regular warts though.

Wouldn't hurt to try I guess!

HI

My mum used to use the white milk of the thistle plant only on the

wart. It will turn it black. It is readily available in the garden and

doesn't cost anything and it works.

dear nan,

i got rid of a wart on my daughter's toe with tea tree oil neat for a week and

then alternating with lemon oil neat for a week. I covered it with a bandaid. it

actually dissolved within 10 days or so. this was after $160.00 worth of

podiatry bills and some special patches and nightly foot baths that did Nothing.

the wart went through some dramatic changes before it fell off - like it turned

white and grey on top and broke apart. but it never hurt.

" Apply neat oil using a toothpick so that you get one drop directly onto the

wart or verruca. Cover with a dry plaster or dressing and repeat at least twice

a day. Alternate the oils after 2 or 3 weeks. "

Hello Brandee,

I have been told that kids with immune deficiencies can have more warts and

have more difficulty getting rid of them. has them on about seven or

eight of his fingers and another little spot on the back of his hand. Since

warts are caused by a virus, it makes sense that our kids would be more

susceptible.
