Flu shots are being given already

So, I saw a sign at I think Rite Aid yesterday "Flu shots today." Thinking it was a bit early for this, and that this coming season's vaccine wouldn't even be made yet, I perused the CDC site for info. I found this link (http://www.flu.gov/widgets/vaccinelocator.html) while trying to find out when they normally start pushing, I mean "offering" flu shots. I always thought October-ish.

Anyway, lo and behold, this message appeared: "finder down until next flu season." Uh, then what are they giving at Rite Aid, last year's leftovers??

I've seen the signs here in front of a Walgreens already last month. I was thinking the same thing that it seemed early to be pushing/offering them too.
