Guest guest
I think the answer you gave was excellent for an on the spot response, since she will at least understand that and it's true. I've been stuck looking for the same answer myself. Next time, you could say that's what a lot of people think because it seems the same. Let them know they're kind of on the right track so they'll listen. Then explain that the goal of vaccines is to prevent a single, communicable disease through production of antibodies. Homeopathy doesn't work to prevent specific diseases (although I suppose it does indirectly by improving your health in general) but to promote healing of various conditions/injuries, including communicable diseases, that already exist. Someone actually trained in this (not me!) might have a better explanation. But I think you did fine. Guest guest
You did great. You can add next time that homeopathy individualizes the remedy to the person because each person can express flu differently, and that we do not use crude or toxic substances - only very dilute and safe. She was asking me about the remedies and what they were made of, etc. When I explained about the law of similars, and how it nudges your immune system to respond to it in a similar way to the symptoms of the problem, she said, " Oh, that's like how the flu vaccine works. " I wish I had had a wonderful response, but I don't think well on my feet. I told her that the vaccines had a lot of other bad ingredients, and that they were injected into the blood, bypassing the normal immune system workings. What else should I have said about how vaccines and the law of similars are not the same thing? > > Amy >
