Guest guest
How do you or anyone else know if the disease will be less severe if you are vaccinated? If you get a mild case of the flu, but then have crippling arthritis from a vaccine, how is that healthy? ~ Maureen R. Gradvohl ~ From: mocolvinhere <mohere@...>Vaccinations Sent: Sun, April 24, 2011 5:46:27 PMSubject: Help! adult needing vaccines So....we chose not to vaccinate our now 4 yr old son for so many obvious reasons.... I, the mother, however am in a confusing situation. I was in a car accident in 1988 and lost my spleen. I recently went to a specialist to talk about preventative measure to ensure my health and longevity since I am an older mom (45) with a 4 yr old. I was thinking nutrition, supplements...etc..... The advice given: get vaccinated - Oh I should have known. Flu shot every year pneumococcal vaccine every 5 yrs HIB (haemopholus) vaccine meningococcal vaccine every 5 yrs I asked what the likely hood was that I would contact Meningitis and she said "chances higher due to no spleen".....I was also told to have antibiotics on hand if I ever develop a fever over 101 to help prevent Sepsis - a severe and potentially life-threatening condition in which infection-causing bacteria spreads throughout the bloodstream and/or tissues. The most common cause of sepsis is infection with Streptococcus pneumoniae, also known as the pneumococcus. Ugh! I'm so frustrated, but also concerned because there are considerations not to over look..I'm not concerned about developing autism (or should I be?).... I am concerned however, about getting severely ill since my immune system is challenged and i can't fight off the bacteria one with a spleen can. I know the vaccines can't keep me from contacting the above diseases, but it will lower the severity.....so I've been told. All thoughts are welcome. Thanks! NO vaccine gives immunity ever, so why bother and risk the danger? Guest guest
they are able to go into a parallel universe and in that universe you get the vaccine and this universe you don't They they compare the two Sheri At 07:07 PM 4/24/2011, you wrote: How do you or anyone else know if the disease will be less severe if you are vaccinated? Guest guest
I'm not sure what kind of specialist you went to but if you went to an MD for preventive measures, all they know is to give vaccines and drugs. You need to go to someone who is in sync with your philosophy of health. You're smart to question their advice. Anyway, my actual first thought was if not having a spleen makes it more difficult for you to fight disease, how are you going to fight off the vaccine's effects? How will your body produce antibodies or recover from any vaccine injury? They don't test vaccines (as it were) on unhealthy people for a reason. Likewise, they then should not give vaccines to unhealthy people, but there's no logic in Vaccine Land. Even if vaccines did lower the severity of diseases, which they won't despite that mantra, you should make it a priority to keep toxic substances out of your body. Don't waste your time or money (or health) on these jokers. Go to a qualified person. Do you have a good naturopath in your area? Guest guest
my spleen was removed at age 2.5 due to congenital disease - 40++ years later and still kicking and NO antibiotics here. My immune system is fabulous! Guest guest
Thanks for all your support!!!! I too, was wondering how I would fight off any vaccine effects since my immunity is lower......not to vaccinate is my gut instinct and I'm sticking to it. I live in Santa , CA and not sure of a homeopath in the area, but will check it out. > > I'm not sure what kind of specialist you went to but if you went to an MD for preventive measures, all they know is to give vaccines and drugs.
