Guest guest Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 If that time comes, check your state laws first to see if exclusion would occur only during an "outbreak" and how many cases would make up an outbreak--one, seven?? One case might not be enough legally to exclude someone. And see how it legally has to be diagnosed. Can a doctor just look at the rash and declare it CP, or does it need to be lab-confirmed? One of the groups members here recently had something happen with, I think, mumps. The board of health and schools were both involved and the parents of the unvaxed child were told they should take their child out of school (not ordered but suggested).
