How to justify selective vaccination?

Hello

We are located in Steuben County, NY. We have decided to give some

vaccines but not all. Hepatitis B, and Varicela are 2 of the mandated

vaccines that we have chosen not to give our child (there are others).

NY only accepts exemption due to religious reasons.

Does anyone have experience on justifying not vaccinating against some

diseases, but doing it against others?

Any imput would be appreciated
