Guest guest
My son has a really swollen lymph node on the side of his neck, but only the one side. It has been this way (as far as we know) since last week, going on 7 days now. It does bother him when he eats because it is just below his jaw bone and under his ear. It is pretty tender. I don't want to take him to the doc and have any unnecessary tests done... but I am worried just waiting to see if it goes down in size. I have looked in his mouth and throat, he doesn't have any sores in his mouth, his throat is not red. His only symptom is the lump on the side of his neck. I have 3 other small children who have colds right now. Thanks in advance for anybody with advice!
