well check-up, and how annoying DRs are!!

this is just a ranting post, so here goes....

well i took my 11mon old to her well checkup along with her heart-echo follow

up, if it wasnt for that i wouldnt even go back to have the doctor tell me that

my kid is okay, given i pay close attention to their well being to the best of

my abilities, i have 3kids total, when we first seen this doctor he is a great

listener babbles alot about nothing, but listens to what i have i have to say

instead of the typical DR who wants you in and out and thinks knows better than

GOD himself, well i thought he was different from other doctors, and when we

first took her in for the first time, he was okay with us deciding not to

vaccinate our children due to religious reasons and i do believe that GOD gave

everything to us with the abilities to heal thru nature...so now he starts

talking about vaccines and if i dont vaccinate my children that i am playing

with fire and that i am basing my reasons from an article that was published

awhile back about the link between autism and vaccines....saying it was false

info....i told him i had researched and researched, and discussed with my hubby

about not vaccinating our children, then he starts talking about the dangers of

not vaccinating, and when the kids starting to go to public schools they are

going to be exposed to all kinds of diseases, and more frequent then none its

from the armish when they decide to come out around public communities, i

thought to myself how ignorant and naive this doctor is....but aside from that i

reassured him that we've made the right choice in not vaccinating because of our

religion...

all in all, its like anymore we have no right to raise our children, how we want

to anymore, and if its not societies way then its wrong, way am i being scolded

for negligent when i decided as a parent that i want to raise my children in

GOD's honor....i just dont get it

anyways thanks for listening and allowing me to vent
