Guest guest
, not advising you to lie or anything, but here are a couple of things you may want to consider. If you can say that you are allergic to eggs, you should be able to avoid most flu shots, since people with egg allergies can't get the flu shot, although they will still try to convince you otherwise. I worked in hospitals from 1983-1992 and avoided vaccines by saying that I was either pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or nursing. It was not a lie because my kids were born in '86 and '92 and in between I could say that I was "trying" to get pregnant. If you are the right age to fall into that "nursing, pregnant, or may become pregnant" category, you might be able to avoid all the shots. Guest guest
Except pregnant women are on the priority list to receive the flu shot. (so we can abort our babies w/ gov’t help and keep population low).. always thought that was a load of hooey.. the depopulation theory conspiracy but yk, after hearing of all the miscarriages from the flu shot and the H1N1 shot.. I don’t totally dismiss it anymore My OB has never encouraged me to get a flu shot but he probably wouldn’t discourage me either. Guest guest
to add to and second Venita, ...and so the rate of autistic children does not go down, when it comes to thimerosal STILL being in many flu shots, multi-vials esp. But even without thimerosal, you have excitotoxicity causing brain inflammation and damage, as Dr. Blaylock discusses in his forward to Neil Z. 's " Vaccine Safety Manual. " Christie W. Guest guest
After the fight last year in NY over mandated flu shots for health care workers (not sure if you were aware of this but there was a huge protest against it), I would stay out of hospital settings, or be prepared to fight or leave. At this point, they are probably not mandated anywhere but that can change in a heartbeat. Of course, the egg allergy advice could work, too... Guest guest
A friend of mine works for Rush in downtown Chicago and they take religious exemptions...she cant take advantage of them yet as she is a nursing student and they do not accept religious exemptions. She had a hell of a time getting them to accept a titier test. so there are hospitals out there that will allow exemptions, not sure how many though? > > I have always wanted to become a board certified Lactation Consultant, but was > unsure if I wanted to work in a hospital or not.. > > My question is this: Are healthcare workers required to get vaccines such as flu > shots?
