Guest guest
I told my co-worker while she was pregnant to breastfeed, breast is best, blah, blah, to look into vaccinations, blah, blah, I wasn't being pushy, but I don't stay shut, I tell them my experience, and I don't stay shut.... but I lose " animo " so she posted on her facebook that her son was infected by the recall from the formula that had the bug parts, remember that so I go in person, and I'm like how's your son doing, and she responds that he has been out of the hospital for a week now, and that he is doing much better, but it seems he is getting a cold now.... and she's like, " I want what's best for my son, so I give him a little tylenol before I take him for the vaccinations, because I don't want him to get a fever, blah, blah. " (remember this is the abridge version of the story) so I mention to her that a fever is not a bad thing that the body doens't attack itself, and she's like " why were you a doctor? blah blah " so I just leave her alone, so she writes a message, haven't you heard of " autoimmune " disorders the body does attack itself.... and I said to her, autoimmune disorders can be prevented or reversed by not putting toxins into the body. so than she writes back and I'm thinking she's being inquisitive for real, and she's like well how do you have your son enrolled in school if you don't vaccinate, so I explained to her that there is a religous exemption in NJ and you don't have to disclose your religions, whatever, I'll show her the letter if she wants to... She writes back, " I don't want to see the letter, I was just wondering how you manage that since I know you don't practice religion. I'm pro-vaccination, and my son is getting all his vaccines, all of them, and will have no problem enrolling in school " I am talking to her ever again, she's just venoumous, but it makes me sooooo sad for that little baby, so sad. I hope he survives, he is only 4 months old, and was hospitalized last month for ingesting infected formula. So sad, so sad! Guest guest
When they get mean like that, I would just say "you were warned. Good luck to you managing your child's health with drugs and vaccines!" Unfortunately, this would only come after they irritate you. I mean, really, she doesn't know about exemptions but she's informed? Come on. That's a classic sheeple! Winnie I have tears in my eyes, so frustrated....need to ventVaccinations > I told my co-worker while she was pregnant to breastfeed, breast > is best, blah, blah, to look into vaccinations, blah, blah, I > wasn't being pushy, but I don't stay shut, I tell them my > experience, and I don't stay shut....> > but I lose "animo" > > so she posted on her facebook that her son was infected by the > recall from the formula that had the bug parts, remember that> > so I go in person, and I'm like how's your son doing, and she > responds that he has been out of the hospital for a week now, > and that he is doing much better, but it seems he is getting a > cold now.... and she's like, > "I want what's best for my son, so I give him a little tylenol > before I take him for the vaccinations, because I don't want him > to get a fever, blah, blah." Guest guest
I really hate the "are you a doctor" comments, too, as if you only have credibility if you are one or trust one. I would answer that last time I heard not all parents were required to have a medical degree.
