Any good literature on Whooping cough?

I have a mother in law who is pushing the Whooping Cough vax. I'd like to show her any good websites, medical journals or anything to show the negative effects of the vaccine. Does anyone know of any off hand that I could show her? Thanks!

NY is tricky from what I hear. I'd want to know for sure so I wouldn't get a call next month telling me to jump through hoops proving my religion. But you could end up saying the wrong thing if you called. I don't think I'd want to contact them without some expert advice first.

What do other people in NY do? Do you get a written response telling you they accept the exemption or does it all depend on the school? In CT, I hand it in and point out the exemption form to lay all the cards on the table, so to speak. But they don't hassle you here.
