Guest guest
There is no such thing as an outbreak of shingles. Shingles is only contagious to people who have not had chicken pox. If it's spread, chicken pox is spread, not shingles. Someone can not "catch" shingles. Shingles is caused from stress, decreased immune system, and it is the chicken pox virus that was dormant is now active. She said her leg was covered, and it was only a small rash. She had just experienced a stressful and traumatic situation that week, which I've read can cause an outbreak. She never touched my son, but was in the same room. Can you please share ideas on ways to boost my immune system, and also to try to avoid him getting sick? (He's been on a probiotic since he's 2 months old). Meghan
