Guest guest
I'm fortunate to be in an area with good practitioners. But there are a lot of NDs around the country who really do know what they're doing. I've learned you really have to handle things both ways - know a lot yourself plus find good practitioners. When you know a lot, you can better discern who's good and who's not. I wrote this article about taking things in your own hands and finding good practitioners. There's an article at the end about choosing health practitioners and a list of organizations with directories. http://www.healthychild.com/general/are-you-trapped-in-the-current-sick-care-sys\ tem/ Jane Healthy Child http://www.healthychild.com > > > > > Nystatin is a much less toxic drug for fungal infections. But sometimes Diflucan is necessary. For this last systemic infection, I took Nystatin but then had to go to Diflucan for a few days along with the Nystatin. But this was because it was so severe. You can get these drugs from a naturopathic physician, you don't need to go to an MD for prescription. It's extremely important if you are killing yeast to take the right enzymes to consume the die-off. Otherwise you will be very sick. And also deal with the underlying gut issues. You need a good ND or MD who understands this. > > >
