Hi!

Yes, I heavily dislike, to put it mildly, the pharm companies. They do have

there place, but it has just gotten so out of hand. just like the ER docs and

nurses, they have their place.

A move in the right direction...University of MIchigan has dumped the Big pharms

money. They wanted to be unaffected by them. I hope the rest of the schools

follow that lead. It won't be easy giving up that kind of money!

I can't think of anything more powerful then Diflucan for yeast but you are

still band-aiding it. If yeast is a chronic thing for someone they need to deal

with what is going on in the gut. Yeast will come back if there is dysbiosis

and/or parasites. Those creatures change the ph in the gut so yeast can grow

back. However, in some cases the diflucan is all you need, if it is at the right

dose. When you are in extreme pain from yeast you want to do the quickest think

to get better at the moment. But it is definitely, in most cases, not a cure

all. If your gut is a mess you need to deal with that. It is a hard road. And

the fact that my DD has it tears me up!

If it can be handled in a natural way and you are not home screaming to die

(cause of the pain) taking the time to do it the natural way would be ideal.

Unfortunately, it is a real complicated confusing road.

In your situation, they were scrambling...I ain't talkin eggs!

I am so glad it turned out ok. When you are pregnant every little and of-course

big, body pain is scary.

Just to add..... to most docs the solution to everything is antibiotics.

Headache., take antibiotics....gas, take antibiotics...fight with hubby, take

antibiotics. That is why we are in such a mess with yeast and MRSA, among other

things.

whew...thanx I feel better!

Rant at ya later! LOL

Take care,

:0)

Wait a sec- tetracyline is anti-botic? I was prescribe that & several other

types for my acne when I was in highschool b4 I was prescribe Accutane :(

yeast issues was: Re: Being pulled to the other side...

Should I go ahead and vax?

It's difficult for me to express how I feel about antibiotics ruining my health

for so long. In my opinion, doctors who don't recommend probiotics when

prescribing antibiotics and doctors who prescribe them long-term for ANYTHING

should lose their licenses. They are unfit to practice medicine.

If you've had a history of long-term antibiotics, even if it was 30 years ago,

and you have chronic health issues, take probiotics daily, get tested for

intestinal permeability (leaky gut) and get this treated by a holistic doctor

who really knows what they're doing. And also find a good homeopath to deal

with the damage.

I've been through absolute hell with antibiotic damage, but happy to say that

holistic medicine has saved me.

Just could not believe it last night when my daughter's best friend who slept

over here said " I remembered to bring my tetracycline " . They are still

prescribing this for acne!!!!!!! After I calmed myself down, I asked her if

she's taking probiotics. She didn't even know what they were and no she's not

taking them. Her mother is a medical doctor. She says my mom's a doctor, she

knows this is good for me. And her mother thinks I'm a nutcase. It breaks my

heart.
