Hello, my name is Liz, I live in the UK and I am a home educating, recently

single, mum of three unvaccinated children. My oldest, who is now 13 did have

his first vaccinations when he was three, four and five months old (I think, it

was while ago now!) and he had no particular reaction, so though I didn't feel

too comfortable with him being vaccinated, I went along with it, because I

believed them when they told me it was safe and much more dangerous not to have

the vax done.

When my son was coming up to a year old, his MMR became due. Luckily I turned

the tv on one day and saw a part of a programme about vaccine damage. I had

missed most of the programme, but it spurred me on to research vaccinations. I

couldn't believe what I was reading, it had me in tears a lot of the time.

Needless to say my son didn't get his MMR or any other vaccination. Nor did my

two daughters when they were born. My son did have a lot of problems with

co-ordination when he was younger and I always wondered if it might be due to

the vaccinations he had. My ex husband had a vaccination for flu and some other

things (not sure what) when he joined my doctor's practice around 16 years ago

and was ill for around 2 years afterwards. It was never suggested that his

illnesses could have been due to the vaccination, but after all my research it

became so obvious. I feel very strongly that people should know what the true

risks and benefits are when deciding whether to vaccinate or not. Looking

forward to being part of the group.
