Hello,

I am Rh-. DH is Rh+

I have already had one baby. She is Rh+

I was given the Anti D (Immunoglobulin/like Rhogam) shot twice during pregnancy

and once after delivering.

I am not sure if this is OT4VAX since it is about Anti-D " shots " .

Advance apology if it is.

Is it necessary to administer anti-D? Or am I done?

Does administering anti-D have any side effects? I mean these are donor

antibodies...I feel strange injecting into my body, esp. with a baby inside, if

I were to choose to do that again? And I bet they've got other chemicals and

toxins..but am not sure.

Are there alternatives?

I am looking for more information on how can prevent any blood disorder disease

if I plan on getting pregnant the second time around.

What precautions should I take?

Can I test my blood for antibodies BEFORE I get Pregnant?

How early can the anti-D be administered if I were to be pregnant?

Will I need to monitor the sensitization of blood throughout the pregnancy?

Will I always be at risk?

I know someone who has a blood condition as a result of the incompatibility.

The first born is healthy, but she is the second born.
