Guest guest Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 I don't get how people who have done no vaccine research of their own can insist so strongly that vaccines are safe and effective. Even people who flat out admit that they have done no research! A friend of mine has held off on vaccinating but lives in CA and got scared by the pertussis " outbreak " and went and got that one. I can't believe some of the comments people make on her facebook about this - like " The fact is, vaccines are guaranteed and so are the horrible effects of the diseases that they prevent. " There is so much ignorance in that statement that I don't even know where to begin. People are so desperate to justify their ignorant choices. =( Sad.
