Guest guest
If your kids have any wounds, make sure they are covered, and if your mother has any, then make sure they are also covered. Also, have them wash their hands, or use sanitizer. I don't personally let my kids use sanitizer, but if you do that would also work. From: Anne <kacooster@...>Subject: MRSA-help/questionVaccinations Date: Sunday, July 18, 2010, 6:29 PM My mother had MRSA, she is home now, I need to visit her, she wants to see my new baby and my other children, I am very worried and concerned about her having MRSA- should I go? I feel I shouldn't go I have heard that it stays in the body. I just don't want to catch it or have my children catch it. Thanks ~Anne
Guest guest
I wouldn't go if the kids have to go with you. Even if I wasn't concerned about the MRSA itself, I'd be concerned about what the docs would want to do to treat it should one of the kids get it. Guest guest
I would not go either - very contagious. My oldest son got it in football; Then our youngest contacted it from him and it was so hard to get rid of it, and even got in his mouth. We did eventually get rid of it but - just more stress to deal with -AlliFrom: "wharrison@..." <wharrison@...>Vaccinations Sent: Mon, July 19, 2010 7:29:19 PMSubject: Re: MRSA-help/question I wouldn't go if the kids have to go with you.
