Guest guest
PS - and yes vaccines can start this problem with the thyroid. Sheri When you find out, let me know....I have noticed lots of women, including ME, are losing lots of hair, but I haven't had any vaccines since I was a child. I don't take antibiotics, and the only thing is I had two c-sections when I had two boys. So, whatever they gave me during the two c-sections might be causing this. I have noticed that most balding women have kids too, some young ones. Mine are 14 and 17 now. Growing up, I don't remember seeing so many women with such hair loss, I am 57. What have the drug companies done to us now? Western NY Do Vaccines Cause Hair Loss? Hi everyone. My sister has been losing her hair for about 2 months now...about double the amount you lose after having a baby. She's been to the doctor and had blood tests (anemia, lupus, thyroid, etc.), but all came back normal. She went to India earlier this year on a mission trip, so I asked her if she received shots before going. I don't know exactly which ones she got; I only remember her mentioning the H1N1 shot and something else (Typhoid I think?). She's not against vaccines. I am very suspicious that this is the cause of her hair loss. Does anyone know about this, or have articles about it that I could send to her? Thank you, Happy Independence Day! Guest guest
Sheri is absolutely right. I had the same thing happen to me. I was planning on taking a trip to Egypt, and I stupidly looked up the CDC's recommendations of shots for that area, and went to a med clinic to have them give me what I thought I needed. Stupid stupid stupid... I was given probley 5-6 shots at the same time. I got really sick, came down with shingles. And was dizzy, had foggy thinking for weeks, and yes my hair started falling out in chunks. Hair to this day is still not back to where it was, and that was over 10 years ago. I called the clinic to ask if any of these problems might have been related to the vaccines, they of course assured me that there was no way that was possible. That was my wake up call... > > PS - and yes vaccines can start this problem with the thyroid. > Sheri > > > > > >When you find out, let me know....I have noticed lots of women, > >including ME, are losing lots of hair, but I haven't had any > >vaccines since I was a child. Guest guest
wow. so have you been tested for thyroid imbalance since then? My sister says her thyroid tests came back normal. But I did a quick search online and it seems that thyroid tests aren't very reliable. Guest guest
Just because they say it's normal doisnt mean anything....thinking I have thyroid issues (havent been on meds - since '97. I've supposedly stumped them as to how) my thyroid is off but Im in normal range and they wont do anything about it....since It's 1*15. The normal range is !0.3 to 5 and for me my normal stops at 2. Carlena Re: Do Vaccines Cause Hair Loss? - more wow. so have you been tested for thyroid imbalance since then? My sister says her thyroid tests came back normal.
