Guest guest
In this same vein, I had been concerned a while back about what had happened with DS's blood sample from when we had the PKU testing done at birth (the only intervention we had done). In Massachusetts, where we lived at the time, they screen for PKU and dozens of other disorders at the same time. Anyway, I contacted the screening program and they got right back to me and sent me a form to use to request destruction of my son's sample. They said they keep them to screen them for diseases in the future that we don't currently have testing for...hmmm.
