was chicken pox question, now vax vs wild

ok i swore i read some where that getting the pox from a vaccinated individual is different than getting the wild virus. meaning that getting it from the vaccine would either be a different strain or a milder version and therefore they still could get the wild kind..

please correct me if i'm wrong. but i really would like to know this answer soon because my daughter is supposed to go to a party this weekend where one of the kids will have just had their vax 2 days before. and i need to know if its a bad idea to expose her.
