NO antibiotic is OK I am treating 3 children who are unvaxed and many problems from mom's antibiotics during pregnancy and L & D Most ear infections even in children don't need antibiotics. Do you have a homeopath Can you see one I do phone consults But if you want to try on your own, I will email some of the remedy possibilities Choose the ONE remedy and give as I prescribe in another email Sheri >------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
You might want to give GSE concentrate a try, first. It is a natural antibiotic. You can get it at your local health food store. " Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) -- Of course you will need this in the liquid form. Thoroughly mix 3-5 drops of GSE with 1 oz. of glycerin or alcohol or both. Put 1-2 drops in affected ear 1-2 times daily. Do not use GSE full strength in the ears. You can buy a product with similar ingredients called Ear Drops by NutriBiotic. I have had symptoms for almost a week now and have been doing garlic & mullein drops, echinacea, collodial silver, and probiotics very regularly and it's now developed into something I simply cannot bear. I'm truly not able to function and I'm so worried about my upcoming attempt at a drug-free VBAC. Guest guest
, there is this stuff called "hear no evil" that is amazing...it is sold by trilight health herbs - trilighthealth.com or you can order it on amazon, which is what I did, and got it in 2 days.I know you are probably looking for relief that is a little more instant, especially since you are about to have your baby. But, I hope that helps...~ From: brookehoush <brookehoush@...>Subject: Safest Rx for pregnancy and breastfeedingVaccinations Date: Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 9:05 PM Okay, so I'm VERY distraught over the fact that I have an extremely painful ear infection and today I am due to have my second child. I don't even remember the last time I took an antibiotic, but feel like I need to go this route. What would you say is the safest one I could choose? Is amoxil okay?
Guest guest
Okay so how do I get pain relief from this HORRID pain I'm experiencing? Especially in time for the birth my body is going to go through any minute now? I don't have a homeopath near me and I'm feeling a real sense of urgency right now. I've been working so hard to make this thing better over the last week and it's only gotten worse. Way worse. > >Okay, so I'm VERY distraught over the fact that I have an extremely > >painful ear infection and today I am due to have my second child. Guest guest
How awful for you. I still remember how painful they can be from when I was 3 or 4. Antibiotics won't necessarily help--might not be bacterial anyway. I'd avoid them at all costs while pregnant or nursing. Could it possibly be due to diet? Are you drinking milk? It could be allergies, depending on where you live. I know we're having a lot of pollen in CT. I would take a careful look at diet, use homeopathy for the safest treatment and quickest relief, and also take Larix. You could try putting warm compresses on the ear to help drain it, too. I hope you feel better soon and good luck with the VBAC. I had two--it can be done!
