Guest guest
Hi...I tried to do a message search for this but it wants to pull up 5,000 and I can't refine it enough. So I'm asking probably an old question here...my apologies. I'll post this email and ask what you all think. I've had this the normal way, probably 45 or so years ago...what's the deal now? Just my own immune health? This email is from one of my student's grandmothers...I run a music studio; private leassons...hands on, close proximity work. <<I wanted to give you a heads-up that (student) was exposed to chickenpox and will very likely start showing signs of infection because we chose to forgo the vaccine. I still don't know if she's going to school tomorrow – I have to speak with the nurse and find out if it's considered a serious threat. Most children have been vaccinated, but there's always a chance at a second infection and adults are much worse off if they get chickenpox. Anyway,(student)is doing fine and I hate for her to miss her second lesson, but I'll let you make the call. >> Best she stays home?...I'm glad they didn't vaccinate, but what's the risk to me though. Thanks! Diane
