Guest guest
I'm going to try to make this short......so my 28 month old son has not been vaccinated. Well, he had the DTap and Rotavirus at 2 months and then we stopped. Since then I've read a lot, been a part of Sherri's vaccine class (although I got WAY behind with a very difficult pregnancy I'm currently experiencing), and tried my best to stay up with these emails. I get constant ridicule from my parents, friends (a best friend of mine since childhood won't even let my son--who is also her godson--be around her now 7 month old baby), my childhood pediatrician (my parents contacted him with their concerns), and even one of my chiropractors recommends doing this schedule http://www.lewrockwell.com/miller/miller15.html. My son unfortunately recently bit another child at his preschool and I'm just suspecting this, but I believe there is talk among the mothers that " the unvaccinated child bit another little boy. " Now I'm getting even more criticism and question since we're having a baby in ~5 weeks and everyone is concerned about us having two unvaccinated children and my son's exposure to his baby sister with being around so many other kids. Not to mention, my husband is in medical device sales and a large part of his job involves being in an operating room for heart surgery so everyone worries about that. The reason I'm writing is because even I am starting to question what I'm doing now. My husband is neither here nore there and some times mentions his own concerns. Especially with the baby on the way I've become even more apprehensive. I was just wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom and/or reminders as to why I shouldn't vaccinate. The whole topic just scares me so much and I really wish I had time to fully educate myself on the topic so that I can put all of my worries to rest. As I said before though, once I discovered this group I was soon pregnant and it's been a very tough time for me. The baby is fine--very happy and healthy--but I've been really sick and extremely tired. So sorry for the long email--I said I would keep it short, but guess it's just hard to quickly explain such an involved subject. I wish I had a support group I could meet with live every week!!! Thanks in advance to anyone who thinks they can help me =)
