Also frustrating when you mail $240 Worth of vit c, D3, multi, probiotics, and CL0, they are sick, and don't take it!!!!!! Some people are too lazy to research and think for themselves. This person wants pills and surgery, won't exercise, won't change diet!!!!!! Urgh!!!!! Stupidity!Sent from my iPhoneNmidaughterseyes@...On Dec 30, 2009, at 5:34 PM, ruszala4@... wrote:

The same friend who's daughter has severe asthma and always sick told me today she was at the pediatrician and got another script for antibiotics for ear infection this time. I gave her many articles about overuse of antibiotics but who knows if she ever read it. She knows my views on vaxing etc. Thought she was coming around b/c she st. her kids on things I mentioned and stopped giving tylenol for fevers etc. I guess she didn't trust me and mentioned it all to her dr. and the dr. agreed probiotics are good but said not to supplement with Vit. C b/c it can be toxic. Something about cysts bumps under skin forming. Ped. told her the multi was plenty. I was floored. I told her I completely disagree and never heard such a thing. What mg. level is ok for say a 6 yr old? I checked the multi vit only has like 60mg I give mine total of 500mg a day and more

when they are sick. I told her u can give until loose bowels and said that ppl are treated with vit C IV's and it's better treatment than drugs. The Dr. obviously don't want her taking Vit C b/c gee then the kids might not be as sick and she'd lose business.....

Makes me so mad. How in the world can u tell ur patient that taking extra Vit C is harmful. She is sticking to what her dr. thinks and was trying to get me to change my mind. I told her it would take the whole damn bottle to make her kid toxic. So absurd. From experience I know for myself that Vit. C is key and I'm glad that I'm not so ignorant and ventured into another way of thinking or I'd be the one standing there listening to their BS.

I'm breastfeeding and take 1000 mg. C and read can go to 8000 a day. Am I doing something wrong? Sheri can u forward the page with Vit C info I only have the Vit D emails.

Also explain to your friend that Vit C is water soluble; therefore, the

body easily excretes what is excess.

But I agree 100% with you about dosing!

You're right. The doctor's wrong. Period.

Next time your friend tries to convince you her doctor knows best, ask her about her child's asthma and how come the doctor allowed that to happen, and can't get rid of it?
