Guest guest
They just closed down one of son's schools, a private boarding school. Even all the boarders are being sent elsewhere (my son is a day student). No sports, nothing for five days. 17 kids were sick out of about 150. Oh, well. Less driving I have to do! My little guy's school has two confirmed cases of piggy flu (swabs taken--but who knows for sure it's true?) and the nurse said it's the normal amount of illness they always see this time of year. Another son is getting testy that his school (public high school) has 25% of the kids out and they didn't get a second off. Can it possibly be due to my sage wisdom I presented to them in August telling them not to lose their minds over this?? Let's pretend for a little while...
