Guest guest
For those of you on Facebook, there is a new group called " H1N1 Pediatric Survivors " , and it looks to be mothers using fear to spread the word about getting their children vaccinated. The founder of the group's daughter developed H1N1 (was supposedly " Perfectly Healthy before the illness), and developed major complications that made her critically ill. Of course, the mother wrote a blurb yesterday about having had two of her four children vaccinated against H1N1 after two of her children came down with it, and also talked about how they had the seasonal flu shot just two weeks prior...so I'm assuming these kids are vaxed to the hilt to begin with and are far from the " Perfectly Healthy " one might picture when you see those words associated with a child. Here is the description that was put up on the group's site: " This site was founded because of the need to spread the word that H1N1 is making HEALTHY kids critically ill! Many kids that survive the H1N1 virus are finding they have ongoing problems. Problems that arent being addressed or talked about in the media. We need to speak up! If you have a story, post it here!!! You can also email me at ______. Guest guest
It was confirmed today my daughter tested positive for the swine flu. She had 101. 2 -highest fever. Today it went up to 103.6. Not sure what is to come, she is a very sick little girl right now. She is getting plenty of rest still drinking not eating much today though. I will keep everyone posted. The doctor sent us home with homeopathic drops told us to take 1000 mg a day of vitamin c and 3 tsp. raw honey. Right now though she is really sick, same symptoms of a bad flu except for her scary cough. Guest guest
If the one remedy that matches her symptoms is in there, it may work but they also are in very low potency which usually doesn't work for acutes as they are pretty strong illnesses and the potency (the X or C) needs teo be higher. She maybe is just doing better because she would be doing better without it. Read how homeopathy works in article I wrote on my webpage http://www.wellwithin1.com/homeo2.htm the only people that should be prescribing remedies should be homeopaths or naturopaths who have also studied homeopathy extensively. Glad she is better though Sheri At 06:00 PM 11/3/2009, you wrote: REALLY? She is actually doing much better right now. Fever went down, she was laughing and eating. Guest guest
We had swabs up the nose in Jan. Feb. & Mar. 09. Tested positive for A, B, then A again, no swine test. The swab tickled, was anoying. Is that how they test for swine? A $400. Guest guest
My husband is actually at Urgent Care getting tested right now... I'll let you know what the test was, if he knows. My neighbor was tested, positive result, and she mentioned something about a " test line " and that her's " didn't even take the normal 10 minutes " that the doctor said it would take to get results. Who knows. My husband was sick with the flu last week and is having a pretty bad relapse... he looks like death walking, but the only way for him to be able to get off work to stay home and rest and recoup without being given a guilt trip is to be dx'd with something, so I made him go in and told him to get tested for swine. His bosses are jerks, to say the least... such is the car biz. On Tue, Nov 3, 2009 at 12:06 PM, Jim O <jimokelly@...> wrote: > > > > I was curious as to who tested for swine flu. Guest guest
Well, DH came home and relayed to me that he was tested for flu, but not a specific strain... it was our GP on duty at the Urgent Care facility tonight, and he told DH that if anyone says they tested for H1N1 they are feeding you line, because nobody tests for H1N1 anymore. If you have the flu, you are labeled as having H1N1 automatically. DH didn't test positive for flu, but the doc said he did still have some flu symptoms (though not as severe as last week), so he prescribed him Tamiflu and sent him home. Of course, DH is not going to take the Tamiflu and he is still planning to go to work tomorrow, even though doc told him he should stay home and rest to prevent it from getting worse. Grrr... Guest guest
Thanks Sheri, how much vitamin d is acceptable for young children, age 2 - 6 years old? Now my younger ones are sick too. I have 400 iu of vitamin d pills at home. I don't want to give it to them without knowing how much. I have read somewhere you have to balance it out with Vitamin A because too much vitamin D can deplete the body of vitamin A. I don't know if this is true, but I didn't want to give them the wrong amounts. Thanks again ) From: Sheri Nakken <vaccinedangers@...>Vaccinations Sent: Tue, November 3, 2009 10:46:40 PMSubject: Re: "H1N1 Pediatric Survivors" on Facebook At 07:16 PM 11/3/2009, you wrote: It can't harm her though right?
