But when a lowly mom can tell, she's pooh-poohed. Refresh my memory? Was she vaccinated? I’ve already called to report him! AND he must have missed a few days of anatomy class in med school, because he said her parotid glands were in the front of her face on either side of her nose, and they were NOT swollen. DUH! That’s because they’re located by the ears by the neck and jaw! I guess our “family” doc needs to brush up on his infectious diseases, too, since he rudely brushed off my concerns, too! Poor Girl! I feel so bad for all she has gone through! AND the STUPID doctors! Ugh. I so know what that is like, btdt. That’s why it’s so important for parents to be educated and be strong advocates for their children’s health. He even refused a tetanus shot after getting a fish hook in his eyelid about 4 years ago! I was so proud of him! Like symptoms. He recovered but I'm hoping next time he won't take the shot again.
