Be straight with her: No, I don't think it's a good move. Oh, good. Maybe I should do that, too. I condensed it from what I've been putting in the comments section of whatever articles I see. Here's my latest version (feel free to copy/paste it wherever):

The swine flu vaccines are experimental. The injectable ones will have mercury and/or squalene. The mist version contains the live virus and can shed up to 21 days. Read more here: (http://www.whale.to/a/ten13.html) and (www.nvic.org).

Vaccines all carry the risk of serious side effects, including death, and none are guaranteed to work. Pharmaceutical companies are not held legally accountable in case of injury or death.

The swine flu is a mild flu. The only people dying from it either had underlying conditions or were given flu drugs, such as Tamiflu. Here is the package insert. See page 12. Be informed about the safety and effectiveness of any vaccine or drug before allowing the pharmaceutical companies to fill you with fear for their profit.

I saw this on my friend's FB status this morning:

" Mommy friends, help please. I made an appointment for my kids to both get a

flu shot on October 14. Pros? Cons? Is this a good move? We've never gotten

them before. I'd love any insight. Thank you!!!!!!! "

I really would like to respond but not sure what to start with. I don't want

to be attacking her to not get the flu shot but help her be aware of what in

those flu shots. She does vaccinate her kids. I would like some advices on

what to say since I rarely discuss this with anyone on FB. I just like to be

able to try to help and enlighten them on this subject if I can.

Thank you for the response. I posted that on her status and added a link to nvic.org about the flu. I don't think I gave the right link because this is her response.

You could also post the link to the Wall Street Journal article

showing how Canada is delaying the seasonal flu vaccine, because an

" unpublished " study there shows that a person is MORE likely to

contract the H1N1 flu if they have received the seasonal flu vaccine:

Additionally, you can offer this tidbit under your status.  I've been

using it under my links and it's gotten some attention.  My neighbor

even called, said she read my recent links and will NOT be giving her

kids any flu shots this season.  This from a die-hard vaxer!  Success!

kilogram = 2.2 lbs... that means that for the amount of mercury in ONE

Can I post your information too? I’ve decided to put

something on my Facebook page. I need to put my 2 cents in to let people

know. I appreciate you making readily available. I am guilting of

not “researching” everything myself. The problem is, I know

without researching the facts. One thing my parents did for me was tell

me not to trust the government. I’ll leave it at that because I don’t

want to cause “political” issues.
