Guest guest
Hello Helen Sorry, I've been away from my personal email for a while. It's been awful at work, seeing a Fortune 100 company suddeny become history's worse corporate disaster. Ironically, I'm in a slightly better situation than my co-workers simply because the company's problems caused them to rescind their job offer to me. I'm slightly allergic to cats but over time, I get used to it. I'm sure that having the cats isn't particularly good for me especially since I've heard that cat feces tend to carry a bacteria that weakens the heart. But it is nice to have the cats around. Guest guest
Yes, there has been a lot of disasters this year ( Sorry for all the folks that this affects, but glad you will be alright... That is Too Many close calls !!! You must be a cat with many lives ) I will check out CNN to see if I see you!!! But I don't know who to look for ) I presume suit and briefcase !!! ) It is in our paper about the big bankrupcy, I wil presume your company... Take care and drop a line now and then so know that you are alright ) {{{ Be Careful Hugs }}} Helen Hello HelenI'm actually in a better situation at work than my co-workers. They were going to hire me on as a permanent employee but then everything collapsed. Since the conversion to a direct employee didn't happen, the b ankruptcy doesn't impact me immediately in that my paycheck is not in danger but my current employer would need to find me another client.I guess what bothers me is how unbelievable it all is, who would've thought a fortune 100 company with a record 100 billion revenue this past year to go from $85 a share to 25 cents a share. This is just as unbelieveable as the events of 911 or the flood in Houston or my CHF diagnosis. All this in one year, this has definitely been the worse year ever from my perspective and it's not as if anything was done wrong or precipitated any of these disasters, they all just happen. I guess it's just a feeling of helplessness to disasters but I should try to see it as having sidestepped these incredible events. I missed being trapped on I10 when it flooded by about a half hour. I'm responding well to my medications so even though 70% of patients die within five years of diagnosis, I'll probably live past that. I could've easily been in New York and indeed was in July and was thinking of doing a quick getaway to NYC in September but didn't. And I was supposed to change companies to join the client on Nov. 18 but then the merger deal put that on hold.Well, it's official, on the news it was announced that the company filed bankruptcy, it'll be interesting to see if anyone shows up to work tomorrow. The media will probably be there in full force again, I usually sneak in and out through the doors on the right of the screen if you tune in to CNN.Regards,

Guest guest
How are you doing ? Sounds pretty good as I keep reading all the updates here. Do not always have the time to post, but am always interested in how you guys are doing. Just needed to tell you that I do believe in your diet now ! Didn't feel any difference the first couple of days, but I feel it is kicking in now. The mites seem to have minor interest in biting me or hanging out on me. Cannot always maintain the diet as strict as I would like to, especially when I am working and there is nothing right on offer. But still trying my best. Sometimes I eat veggies only, or just a big salad. Always feeling a bit hungry as my body is not used to going w/o carb's, but one gets used to it. And it does help ! So again, thank you for this great advice. If you read my second update on the dutchy's you'll see for yourself, that I am doing pretty well lately... and yes, I feel like you waking up in the morning now, thinking " Life is good " , not wonderful, but good means already something to me :-)
