HI, Hollyjane!THanks for your interesting post!Congratulations to the newborn.I am happy to hear that you have gotten rid of the mite-problem.How long did you have "the plague"?I´m from Sweden overseas, so we don´t have the same products as you have, so I want to know what oxy clean is?Is that washing powder and do you know the ingredients? Thanks for letting me know!CeciliaFrom: hollyjane11 <hollyjane11@...>bird mites Sent: Mon, July 4, 2011 7:57:57 AMSubject: winning protocol

Hi all

I havent been on here in forever. I wanted to drop in and share a few things that worked for me. I am at a place where i dont have the mites on a continuing basis. I only have a problem when i encounter a specific few people in my life that are carriers of the mites. Then it may take me a few days to clear them out, but i do not have an infestation in my skin anymore.

THE FIRST THING THAT I DID TO START GETTING BETTER WAS TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD. THINGS DID NOT IMPROVE FOR ME UNTIL I DID THIS!!

#1 thing to determine if what you are using is working---find a tiny bug, and spray it. If it dies, it works. If it doesnt, time to try something new.

Oxy clean- Use this in your laundry! It absolutely works! I know it sounds like its too easy, and it really is. I spent $80 on a gallon of some crazy cleaner to treat laundry. Oxy clean works better. It even worked when i only had cold water. So try it, just a scoop full for a large load.

Orange plus concentrate- Buy it in bulk at Ace hardware, and mix it in a stronger concentrate than it instructs you to. Use this as your main environmental spray, and you will notice relief very quickly. Also use it for mopping floors. I just pour some concentrate directly on my mop and go to work. So much cheaper than cedarcide, and much more effective!

Benzoyl peroxide from danielkern.com--Used very lightly on wet skin after a shower and left on. Caution- will bleach clothes when wet, and makes skin sun sensitive.

Tea tree tingle body wash-- From Trader Joes, used as a shampoo, and body wash works wonders! If you dont have access to trader joes, look up the essential oils and add those to regular shampoo.

Ozone generator--Used in my vehicle, it is the only thing that works for me in there, i have tried everything, and i mean EVERYTHING!

These things are tried and true! AND CHEAP!! Except for the BP, but it lasts a long time.

Ozone generator is expensive too, but very worth it to me because i could have bought one three times over with the money i wasted on other things.

I have more to post, but Im busy with a newborn so i will leave you with this for now.

Much Love and prayer for all of you.

Keep at it, it DOES get better!!

Hi Holly

Praise God

You are so right , getting right with God is the 1st step .

I have been using Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent with oxy once in a

while , I didn't notice thet the oxy versionwas better then the non oxy version.

The bug is gone around here except a bite or 2 once in a while , I still pick up

1 o2 from the park or dock or old trucks, but not infested.

I to have a certain friend the when I get around him I feel bit up . So sad .

God bless you Holly and your family ,

Bill

ps baking soda puffed around deters all bugs & is safe , I rub it in to cushion

& it keeps them bug free. If not I drench the cushion w/ 1 cup borax & 1 cup

spic n' span & 1 gal o water , wet vac out & dry w/ a hair dryer pointed at it

for 1 day .

Works every time , then I baking soda power it to keep it safe , its a miracle

Thanks, Oxy clean is an oxygen cleaner, i do not know what the ingredients are,

but you can probably either find an alternative brand, or order some for

relatively cheap. I would like to say that only the powder kind works for me. I

cannot use the liquid nor can i use detergents with it added and still have the

same results. It has to be the powder. I believe that the Sun oxygen cleaner

from the Dollar General gives similar results per a friend of mine.

I was plagued for 2 years, and this last year has been great, BUT i do find

myself reinfected occasionally from certain places or people. I can clear them

up very quickly though.

Thanks Bill, i have found that i have to use the oxy clean powder, i cannot use

the liquid, nor can i use detergent with it added in and get the saem result. It

has to be the oxy clean powder, and it really truly does work. I hear from a

friend of mine that the Sun oxygen powder from Dollar General gives the same

results. Bill an ozone generator might do you some good too. You can find them

at a decent price if you shop around. It works better than C02 and you never

have to get it refilled.

Thank you, actually i had a 1 month old when this all started, and now she is 3.

So it has come full cirlce. I am not afraid of it anymore. I have the tools to

fight it, and although i may never be fully free(from reinfection), i am happy

again.

Please learn from me trying every new product that came along promising relief,

wasting thousands of dollars, and precious time robbed from my children. The

things i use are not only affordable but they work!
