You were right Cecilia. I looked up abbreviations and abx stands for antibiotics. Didn't know that. Thanks. From: "Cecilia Borg" <ceciliaborg@...>bird mites Sent: Monday, August 29, 2011 3:49:21 AMSubject: Re: Doc confirmed borrelia in my blood. So tired....

Hi All,Have not posted for months, as this summer I have just been feeling awful with body aches, eye floaters, rashes -- and crushing fatique. Did some exploring online and then went to a Lyme-literate doctor, who did an arsenal of tests. Results -- I tested positive to antibodies to Borrelia, although I did not have enough "bands" to be diagnosed as having Lyme Disease per the Feds (any surprise there?)My doc is having me start on 100 mg Doxy and working up to 200 mg/day for 6 weeks. Then we see how I feel and what the next step is. So...could have come from a tick, a mite, who knows? It's been a year since I started getting bothered with bites, so I could have had this for a year. NEWBIES -- please, please get tested for Lyme if you are being bothered. Don't wait for the bad symptoms to develop. If you are getting bitten by any insect there's a possiblity of infection. I wish I had gone to this doc months ago but I

thought the fatique was just due to stress.Anyone else out there with Borellia? What has helped, what has not? Did drugs help you? Thanks everyone,Taz

Yeah, you have all the symptoms of the Lyme coinfections- now they call it Lyme complex, because the ticks pass multiple infections, not just the Lyme spirochete. What state do you live in? I may be able to give you a doctor's name.AandrayaOn Aug 29, 2011, at 12:02 AM, alaire73 <alaire_fetters@...> wrote:

Treat the Lyme and coinfections and the floaters go away.On Aug 26, 2011, at 9:28 PM, Aggi <aggi_assmann@...> wrote:

Hi Taz, so sorry you also have to deal with the co-infections now.

I just read about your floaters. I have got them since being infested and they are getting more ! The internet says there is nothing you can do about them and there is only one docter who treats them with laser and he is in the U.S.

My situation has improved a lot, but getting more and more scared about infections now. Think I will go and get tested for Lyme as you and many others suggested.

P.S.> A good alternative for AB's would be colloidal silver which is the oldest antibiotic in the world, but has no side effects at all.

A note about Lyme treatment- get a good doctor who treats the infections until they are gone, that means months to years.AandrayaOn Aug 26, 2011, at 9:28 PM, Aggi <aggi_assmann@...> wrote:

i live in huntsville, alabama. perfect hot humid weather for these suckers. i

did some research and did not know LLD docs are very hard to find, and usually

won't tell you over the phone. controversial and political?i guess insurance

companiesdon't like lyme disease. it's a shame that in our country, our medical

and insurance companies don't help. it's all about money instead finding

solutions to stop illness. i guarantee there is a cure for cancer , but then

there would be less money to be made. i am self employed so i do not have

insurance at this time. it's all gonna be alright. my family lives in lakeland

fl that's why i wanted that doctors name awhile back. i might have to go there.

my cousin and her family had lyme disease but are doing very well

Hi ,

you are sooooo nice and once again I want to thank you for all the good advice

you are providing ! So sorry you have had a load back last week, but at least we

know how to fight our monsters meanwhile, don't we ? How long did you keep your

stuff in storage ?

Last night I have been taking my first Lysol bath (the multi purpose cleaner),

felt absolutely clean and great when getting out of the tub.

The mites also left me alone, unless it was one of those really good nights.

Have decided to using the Lysol on a frequent basis from now on, like 2 - 3

times a week. I am also taking Olive Leaf 1500 mg daily now. Overall, my

situation is still quite good, but keep re-infesting myself day by day in the

office. I am just so much better on the weekends. At home I stick to my cleaning

routine and keep them at bay this way. The car is still fine since the Dutchy's

where dining in there.

I am spraying Lysol in the office for 3 days now and hoping to achieve an

improvement. I am going to soak my chairs coming Friday as you recommended.

Biggest problem is the carpet there. If the Lysol does not work, I am going to

order Dutchy's again, no matter what the people say. At least I am not sharing

this office with anyone, which is a bonus.

Going to report if and how the coconut water works !

In terms of helping others, I wish I could do a lot more, but this is such a

lonely battle really and what works for one does not help others, so all we can

do is keep trying different things.

Keep your chin up , you have done and are still doing amazing things !! :-)

Thanks Aggi,

The Lysol bathes work well, but one should space them. The most I had ever done in a row was 5. Then, one every 4 days to a week. I over did it and did 7 in a row and nearly got a urinary tract infection. I'm okay now, but did heed the warning. Don't over use them. Use them judiciously.

My stuff was in storage for a year. Some of the fungus was 8 to 10 inches long! I'll reclean and get pass this. I also learned to take my med. in the morning. Works faster and more effective.

Hope the office clears out for you. BTW< no one would know you let the Duchies loose:) Just don't kill them with Lysol :0

Hi Aggi,Did you say one needs to have something like stations (homes) for the Dutchys, like an upturned flower pot? Would you be able to explain them away by saying the pots are something to help your skin that you didn't want touched or moved & being vague after that?  I assume your company employs cleaners for the offices.

What will happen about the office cleaner; would you be able to stop them vacuuming up your Dutchys?

 Good luck,KrysOn 29 August 2011 17:41, Aggi <aggi_assmann@...> wrote:

Don't worry , I promise to be careful. Like I said, I am planning on 2 - 3

times a week, maybe just 2 bathes really.

I can't believe you had to deal with all that nasty fungus ! Was the storage

item a dry or a very humid place ?

Oh yes, they would see the cartridges, not the predators really:-)

I had 6 cartridges in the car, so I am assuming I would need approx. double the

amount in my office. I probably tell them something about an allergy and that

the stuff in the cartridges is a medicine I need, lol

Hi Krys, that is correct. The dutchy's need little homes to go back to mate and

breed in. couldn't get the cartridges in the UK, that's why she needs

flower pots upside down. In Holland you get cartridges including the nesting

stuff and the predators, which is a lot more convenient. I think I am going to

order them for the office next week and just put some files and boxes in front,

so noone will see ;-)

I read your mum is going to sell her house. Were the predators no option for her

?

Hi Aggie,

My storage unit was very humid.;(

Don't worry , I promise to be careful. Like I said, I am planning on 2 - 3 times a week, maybe just 2 bathes really.I can't believe you had to deal with all that nasty fungus ! Was the storage item a dry or a very humid place ?Oh yes, they would see the cartridges, not the predators really:-)I had 6 cartridges in the car, so I am assuming I would need approx. double the amount in my office. I probably tell them something about an allergy and that the stuff in the cartridges is a medicine I need, lol > > Hi All, > > Have not posted for months, as this summer I have just been feeling awful with body aches, eye floaters, rashes -- and crushing fatique. That's an understatement, that insurance companies don't like Lyme!On Aug 29, 2011, at 4:47 PM, alaire73 <alaire_fetters@...> wrote:

i live in huntsville, alabama. perfect hot humid weather for these suckers. i did some research and did not know LLD docs are very hard to find, and usually won't tell you over the phone. controversial and political?i guess insurance companiesdon't like lyme disease. it's a shame that in our country, our medical and insurance companies don't help. it's all about money instead finding solutions to stop illness. i guarantee there is a cure for cancer , but then there would be less money to be made. i am self employed so i do not have insurance at this time. it's all gonna be alright. my family lives in lakeland fl that's why i wanted that doctors name awhile back. i might have to go there. my cousin and her family had lyme disease but are doing very well

My doctor had me on Artemisinin and Samento for Borrelia and Bartonella... for a long long time. I still have a ton of it and probably will start it again at some point. So glad you saw a LLD. We waited over a year to do that too, but we just did not know any better.

Hi Aggi,Good idea putting the files in front of the cartridges. Good luck with persuading the cleaner not to vacuum your office. Maybe you could tell the cleaners you've put down " something " which will help with your (mite) allergies as, I think, suggested. It sounds plausible & it's not a lie.

I don't know whether my mum will try the predators. Formerly, unlike me, she was a very athletic person & very fit for her age, but this horrible affliction has really got her down. I sent her the links but I'm not sure she could have them down long enough to work, in the house, before starting to spray & vacuum everything. I think she may get them for the car. I know it sounds odd but I think moving may be the best option.

Good luck with your office; I hope it is the final stage in getting rid of the nasty little blighters. All the best,KrysOn 30 August 2011 15:29, Aggi <aggi_assmann@...> wrote:
