Have you checked to see if you have a fungus? I had 3. One was made of the red, black, and mostly blue fibers. The other was a black fuzz like dirt. The third was histoplasmosis which put out clear mycileum with buds and sometime hypae that I could not see but could feel. Most of the time all of them came out of the crater lesions. An anti fungal diet and medication could clear it. I got rid of the bacteria/protozoa infection of the scalp by disolving doxy in water and massaging in for 3 weeks. The others have made more great findings. I bet you can rid yourself of this stuff one step at a time. I'm sure the others will chime in with suggestions. Don't give up hope.

Hi guys,I don't have any kids and I had contemplated having them at some pointin the future. But since I got Morgellons, I'm starting to think I mighthave to forget all about the idea.First of all, would the baby be born with Morgellons? Could Morgellonsinterfere in the formation of the fetus and possibly cause malformationsand other problems? Those fibers are e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. In everyorgan, every pore. God knows what they could do to the pregnancy?I would feel awfully irresponsible by bringing someone into the worldwho might end up living a miserable life, suffering from unknown andunprecedented health problems. What do you guys think? Not if you're in treatment with a Lyme literate doctor. You need to treat the chronic infections before you get pregnant.Aandraya On Aug 10, 2011, at 6:17 PM, jessnyc <helpnynow@...> wrote:

Hi Jess,Good to hear from you. Did you ever get a Lyme diagnosis? Lyme is transmitted to the fetus, but with treatment the baby can be fine. That's about all I know... there have been successful pregnancies with women who had Lyme disease. I just don't know about Morgellons since it is completely systemic... people with Morgellons who had surgeries found through their doctors that the fibers are everywhere. Seems so unreal. Thanks a lot, . How did you figure out you had a fungus? Did

you have a test done or something like that? I have tried a low-carb

diet but it doesn't really do much. There was a girl who posted here

a while ago, her name was .  She said she could 'control' her

symptoms with the candida diet, but that the minute she started

eating carbs again, they would come back. So the fungus (or whatever

it is) seems to be latent and ready to attack the minute it gets

fed.

By the way, are you cured after taking antibiotics? My fear is that

I've read how everyone's tried every remedy imaginable--medications,

diet, natural supplements, etc, and yet so many are far from cured.

I don't have a budget to try everything that everyone has tried, so

until I know something is really the cure, I won't go for it. Though

I have to tell you my symptoms are 95% under control and I

accomplished that by moving and getting rid of almost everything,

plus cleaning like a maniac. But they're still there... Right now

the only part where I feel them is my face: Eye-brows, eyes and

nostrils, and rarely in the surrounding areas. And once in a blue

moon I feel a prickle somewhere in my body.

Thanks for your feedback,

Jess

Hi ,

Thanks for your response, I know it's been a while, my symptoms are

VERY reduced, but still there.  I get an itchy face often enough to

remember that I still have this crap.

I was never diagnosed with Lyme, but I only had a regular western

blot, I never went for the specialized (expensive) testing. I don't

know if it's worth it? Anyway, where did you hear about Morgellons

people  finding fibers everywhere when having a surgery? That's

unbelievable, these $%#@ fibers just won't give up.

I believe Morgellons is more than just Lyme, so I can't rest assured

that because women with Lyme have had successful pregnancies, the

same will apply to women with Morgellons.

Thank you for your suggestions,

Jess

Hi Jess,

I found out after I'd been on the acyclovir 800mg, four times a day for about 5 months. The herpe's sores cleared away, but an unusual sore persisted. I finally took a clean pair of panties that had been specially washed 3 times and dried 3 times and looked at it under a magnifying glass. I saw 2 black specks and a fuzz web of grayish/ blue. I tried to remove them with tweezers...........no luck, then I poured bleach and rinsed..........no luck, and then I poured Lysol complete clean on it and they fell right out into the sink. I washed all my clothes again in the lYsol, treated my dryer with the lysol and then took a large bath in 1 cup of lysol. I felt really sick in the bath for 5 days due to the die off toxins. On the 1st night, I saw weird black specks at the bottom of my bath. I saw under the microscope they where bugs. Marie had posted a list of compost bugs

with pictures, and I immediately identified my bugs as the Feather Winged beetle. They lay their eggs in and eat fungus. They also have 2 teeth on their abdomines which mine for fungus. That explained the razor like cuts I'd get. They are also the tiniest beetle known. I immediately started an anti fungal diet.......no carbs, no starch, not even veggies with starch, and no sugar. I also started putting athelete's foot cream all over my body twice a day (alternating a new type every 5 days as the fungus can become immune to one quickly). I started to clear up dramatically. By the 3rd or 4th week, the beetles stopped bothering me and the fungal stuff I'd always found in my bed stopped. I saw my Dr. and told him I thought I had Histoplasmosis. He found a blood infection and started me on Intraconazole. I am completing my 1st month on it and am healing beautifully. Once on the

medication, i started to herzt up plasitc hypae. Some leave my body whole, some break open in the skin and try to send out mycileum. The difference is, the mycileum only spreads about 1 to 2 inches and then turns crackly and rubs right off instead of traveling 6 to eight inches and holding on like it did. AS of today, I have a hard time finding anything on my body although I've found about 2 plasitc hypae that hasn't reached surface yet. You can't take doxy internally if you have a fungus as it aids the fungus in growing. Hope some of this helps.

Love and light,

Hi ,

Thanks a lot for the info. So let me just see if I understood: You

found out you had fungus because you had the Feather Winged beetle?

So you started an anti-fungal (diet and cream) and started to clear

up?

What do you think cleared you up, the athlete's foot cream or the

diet? If you stop the diet would you get re-infested?

I have a question: What is Histplasmosis, and why did you think you

had it, and how is that related to Morgellons?

So getting rid of the fungus wasn't enough, you had to also get this

other med (Intraconazole), right?

You say you're healing great after your first month on

Intraconazole, so that means you didn't heal from the diet and the

antifungal creams?

And wasn't it kind of dangerous to take a bath in lysol? Isn't that

a toxic cleaner? Does it remove toxins from the body? I didn't know

about that, but I wonder if it doesn't cause other problems?

Thanks a lot for the info, if you could just clarify those questions

for me, I'd appreciate it. I do suspect that what I have is a

fungus, but I'm afraid of trying something on my own because, like

you say, fungus can become immune to whatever I try, so how do I

figure out the dosage, the length of time I should take it, etc? How

did you figure out how long to stay on the stuff you were taking?

And btw, I had no idea that doxy would help fungus grow... wow, I

was very close to taking it a while ago. I guess it would have been

worse?

I had a different experience with Doxy. It actually helped my condition. Doxy only causes yeast in the gut to be able to grow more because it kills off much of our good bacteria. It does not effect the systemic fungus and in the skin. Most of us with these conditions also have chronic bacterial infections so using an abx and an antifungal can be a really good combination. If you do take abx, it's good to take a quality probiotic with it.AandrayaOn Aug 11, 2011, at 8:14 PM, jessnyc wrote: Hi , Thanks a lot for the info. Hi ,

Answers to your questions:

Note that once I realized I had a fungus, I looked up all the common funguses found in the human. I only looked at the symptoms and only seemed to match one: Hystoplasmosis. Hiystoplasmosis can kill you if it moves into the various organs. The cough (came and went many times during 2 years and it was so bad the last time, I took 3 Z packs to get rid of it), the weight loss, being cold no matter how hot it got, and the rare form that surfaces from the blood to the skin.

The blue, red, and black fiber fungus seemed to go long before I knew what it was. Back in February. I was taking bathes in 2 cups of Arm and Hammer Super Soda Wash, which is nearly 100% pure baking soda and works like a poltus, and then bathing again using olive leaf as a body scrub. That way, I could feel the mycileum and roll it off. I also think this particular fungus left because I wiped the dryer everytime I dried clothing with white distilled vinegar. I wash all my clothes a 2nd time in Lysol letting it soak for an hour.

I had started taking the acyclovir in January, and this helped by stopping the herpe's from making its own sores on my body. That's when I noticed the remaining sores looked different. By the end of March, I finally did the check on my clothes with a magnifying glass and that's when the fungus and the beetle came to light. The Lysol bath is only 1 cup to a large bath, so it is very diluted. Until I could see my Infectious Disease Doctor in July, I went on an anti fungal diet, bathed in the Lysol about every 4 days, and did the soda and olive leaf bathes every 3 days. The anti fungal creams really jumped in to help. Just in this state, I lost the feather winged beetle somewhere between week 3 and 4. I lost wrinkles,, plastic dumbbell like hypae from my skin, weight, and most of my sores left. Once I saw the doctor and told him I thought I had histoplasmosis in my blood and all

my symptoms, he agreed and tested me. Now he did not do the 2 test that would identify this fungus by name as they are very time consuming and expensive. He checked my blood for an infection and found one. He put me on the medication. I now eat a semi anti fungal diet as the medicine is slowly killing it in my blood and I seem to have a bit of freedom in that area. The plastic dumbells make it hard as they protect the fungus inside from the medication. However, once it finally makes it to the skin surface, either it comes out whole in the soda bath, or it bursts and sends new fungus out. The difference is that the fungus no longer spreads out 6 to 8 inches anymore. It might make it 2 inches before I get to it to roll it off or, if I don't, It turns dry and crackly and I just rub it off like dead skin.As I type this, I can only feel a few that have not surfaced yet where I could feel an

uncountable number befoe. Before, I used a tube of the anti fungal cream a day. Now I use one tube mixed with equal ratios of A and D diaper ointment cream and hydrocortizole as suggested by Kajay. That will last me a week for day and I put on coconut oil (I melt cooking cooconut oil, 16 ozs.) that contains 100 drops of the following essential oils: clove bud, giner, bitter orange, tea tree, lemon eycaliptus,, and only a few drops of oregano for the night. I don't think I will be doing this forever. I am using less and less as time goes by. It usually takes 3 to 4 months to conquer the histoplasmosis which comes from bird droppings and causes infection by breathing it in. I take 100 mg a day of the Intraconazole.

Maybe I could have gotten rid of it on the diet, but it is so dangerous and was so severe with me, I needed medication as no matter what I did to my skin, it was in my blood and would surface again. I had been on my diet for 2 months by the time I got the medication. All my organs checked okay, so maybe we are gettting it in time. I am washing my eyes with coconut water as it cleans and kills fungus.

I wash with Lysol all the time so its been on my skin before. Besides, the fungus is more dangerous than the Lysol at this time. I don't take the Lysol bathes anymore as I don't have to. It did kill the feather winged beetle which bought me relief and for the first time gave me the opportunity to find and collect specimens to show my doctors. I even had a baby partially sticking out of the mycileum cocoon. I no longergbet tangled mats in my hair caused by the beetle collecting the fungus and attaching it to my hair.

I know the 3rd fungus is going too as the black veins that appeared on my ankle, which I could roll off, are not appearing anymore. The black that came out of my ears after letting the anti fungal oil seep in for 20 minutes doesn't happen anymore, and my ears no longer get an ichy movement in them.

Look, they don't know what Morgellons is, but I had all the classic signs. Seems it is a combination of many infections which seem to work together to attack the host. The doxy disolved in water and massaged into my scalp for 3 weeks did kill the bacteria or protozoa on my head. I am very grateful to Kry's and for telling me not to take it internally if I thought I had a fungus.

Love and light,

Is there any information on this? So far Ialready gave up on the idea.I'd appreciate your

I will say I did take the doxy for 1 month before I knew I had a fungus.
