Guest guest
I had two of the feather-winged beetles for her to see. One, an adult, and one still wrapped in the myiceum but sticking out some. I set up the microscop and had it ready when she came in. She could see my skin had dramatically cleared using the anti-fungal creams. I showed her a new scratch on my side I got while I was sleeping and explained to her that these beetles have two teeth on their abdomine to dig for fungus with. Then I told her about the bird's nests and how I've been spraying but still have gotten 6 bites in 2 weeks as I think the fungus attracts them too. See, Histoplasmosis thrives on bird and bat droppings, so I must smell like a nest(or bird). She was, at this point, very interested. I took her literature on Histoplasmosis and told her I matched most of the signs. She wants me to call her after I see the infectious disease Dr. in July. She thinks he'll put me on internals. I didn't complain as I am on the Doxy now and think it is doing something positive. I told her I pushed this because it anyone else comes in the future complaining about crawling on them, She interupted me at this point and said, " I'll suspect a fungus.
