Not sure if we still have bird mites or just the springtails but I have been

keeping them off my skin the last few days with Off Botanicals - it says on the

bottle it's a plant based repellent. whatever is in it is working...at least

for the time being. yeah!

Hey C.  it is a cream - it comes in a plastic tube.  Made by Off brand - not sure if you have that bug repellent or not in Sweden.  Anyhow, it is 10 % p-methane and 90 % other ingredients.  Doesn't say but the paragraph on the back of the tube reads that is made from a repellent found in the eucalyptus plant.  It is seriously working and you know I've tried it all.  Knock on wood that it holds till we get out of here.

Hi zen morgie,I am so happy to hear that the Off Botanicals is working for you. It makes me so happy! I had such good luck with eucalyptus essential oil with tea tree oil and oregano oil in a hot bath too, especially for the scalp. But I think there is something special about eucalyptus... Mix that with Bill's recipe for the bath of borax and peroxide and it is a real winner. Something that is working for me

Sounds like it the same active ingredient as the Livestock Louse Powder that Rob found effective, It appears to be refined oil of Lemon Eucalyptus.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-menthane-3,8-diol

Seventy years ago.

Weather and rain have undone it again,

And now you would never know

There was once a road through the woods

Before they planted the trees.

It is underneath the coppice and heath,

And the thin anemones.

Only the keeper sees

That, where the ring-dove broods,

And the badgers roll at ease,

There was once a road through the woods.

Yet, if you enter the woods

Of a summer evening late,

When the night-air cools on the trout-ringed pools

Where the otter whistles his mate.

(They fear not men in the woods,

Because they see so few)

You will hear the beat of a horse's feet,

And the swish of a skirt in the dew,

Steadily cantering through

The misty solitudes,

As though they perfectly knew

The old lost road through the woods….

But there is no road through the woods.

Hi Cecilia,

Just wanted to know if your little boy has got some more lesions, or if he is all better now.

I am so glad you are able to relax a bit from this nightmare and do less cleaning and washing and are hopefully able to enjoy life again.

I remember vaguely that this little thing called life can be enjoyable...

and I am getting closer every day :-)

Big hug,

It´s just by the bra´s lining so I´m hoping it´s some allergic och pressure reaction....It has been such good weeks with some relief. I´m so scared that it´s starting all over...Glad to hear you have found some relief Aggi. I´can´t get a hold of lysol or similar to it here. THat sounds like good otherwise. Cecilia,

The bra and the double fold section of panties seems to hang on to fungus, eggs, whatever.... Lysol in the rinse helps with hatched, but does not help with those hatching. I decided to buy panties and sports bras that are not cotton. The lysol is Dettrol in the UK, Sargotun (spelling?) in Germany. so you must have something similar in Sweden. Just for the sake of trying, buy some athelete's foot solution and put it on the lesions and see what happens. If something, you know what to do next; if nothing, you know what to rule out and have only lost $6.

Hi Cecelia

Betadine ( providone iodine ) applied to my leasions for 5 mins & rinsed,

cured my lesions on my head ) then ii used 1 teasp salt & 2 oz of mild shampoo

as a creme & applied it to my hair & lathers up with a littl water & let it dry

on my head daily for months , it helped a lot .. Betadine is sold at most all

pharmacys here in the USA do the sell it there cecelia .

Also MSM sold in most herb stores or farm supplers worked well , I disolved

4, 250 mg tablets or capules in a 3 oz of water & applied to affected areas it

& it helped .

Also epsom salts 1 cup per 3 cups of water helped bites & lesions a lot

I know you can't get borax there , but there are other simalar chmeicals .

I Google searched these words borax similar chemical : it found

Cecelia Borax is used in many foods in china , it is used in a toy called slime

, it is used in many ways & items maybe you could find somthing the contains a

lot of it

I use it in this mix & it cures uncurable lesions fast & painless

The mix:

2 tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster

16 oz peroxide (3%)

32 oz water.

mix it , and the borax nuetralizes the peroxide

( peroxide make the borax penetrate into the skin , peroxide is a penetrate)

Maybe you can find a product that has borax in it & make sure nothing else is

in the product that is deadly & mix up some of the peroxide / water / borax mix

& kill all leasion easily .

Best wash that bra in some liquid lye, borax, fels naptha, ammonia, let soak

overnight. Spray your back and under breast with MMS, and take a MMS bath. Wash

and shampoo with liquid lye as well.

I think Cecilia can get something similar to borax in Sweden. Also, I get powdered MSM from Swanson.com. S wanson's may send overseas too. Some companies do send overseas, although I know Cecilia said they were really strict about what they would allow to be sent. You could find out by contacting Swanson's maybe. I used to try to make my own powder grinding it up with a mortar and pestal or blender, but it was never very fine with my attempts. The powder from Swanson's is very fine and can be added easily to a cream or anything. One of the early recipes using MSM, hand cream and tea tree oil I think came from birdmites.org.- Original Message -----From: " Doe" <doe1769@...>bird mites Sent: Friday, May 27, 2011 4:43:52 PMSubject: Re: Something that is working for me

THanks for your advice BIll, Am just so devastated after all we´ve done that it is back.Take care!CeciliaFrom: Doe <doe1769@...>bird mites Sent: Sat, May 28, 2011 1:43:52 AMSubject: Re: Something that is working for me

Hi Cecelia

Betadine ( providone iodine ) applied to my leasions for 5 mins & rinsed, cured my lesions on my head ) then ii used 1 teasp salt & 2 oz of mild shampoo as a creme & applied it to my hair & lathers up with a littl water & let it dry on my head daily for months , it helped a lot .. Betadine is sold at most all pharmacys here in the USA do the sell it there cecelia .

Also MSM sold in most herb stores or farm supplers worked well , I disolved 4, 250 mg tablets or capules in a 3 oz of water & applied to affected areas it & it helped .

Also epsom salts 1 cup per 3 cups of water helped bites & lesions a lot

I know you can't get borax there , but there are other simalar chmeicals .

I Google searched these words borax similar chemical : it found

Borax - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Wikipedia

Chemistry

Borax, also known as sodium borate, sodium tetraborate ... The term borax is used for a number of closely related minerals or chemical compounds that differ in their crystal ...

Cecelia Borax is used in many foods in china , it is used in a toy called slime , it is used in many ways & items maybe you could find somthing the contains a lot of it

Maybe you can find a product that has borax in it & make sure nothing else is in the product that is deadly & mix up some of the peroxide / water / borax mix & kill all leasion easily .

Link the the peroxide /water / borax mix:

Link to encyclopedia for borax

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borax

Here is an excerpt from the encylopedia for word borax :

.......

pool buffering agent to control the pH

Neutron absorber, used in nuclear reactors and spent fuel pools to control reactivity and to shut down a nuclear chain reaction

As a micronutrient fertilizer to correct boron-deficient soils.[9]

To clean the brain cavity of a skull for mounting

To color fires with a green tint[10]

Was traditionally used to coat dry-cured meats such as hams to protect them from becoming fly-blown during further storage.

Is found in some commercial vitamin supplements

For stopping car radiator and engine block leaks[11]

As an important component in Slime[12]

[edit] Natural sources

........

Borax occurs naturally in evaporite deposits produced by the repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes. The most commercially important deposits are found in Turkey; Boron, California; and Searles Lake, California. Also, it has been found at many other locations in the Southwestern United States, the Atacama desert in Chile, and in Tibet and Romania. Borax can also be produced synthetically from other boron compounds. Naturally occurring Borax,.....

( maybe you could make your own borax by evaporating lake water & collect the salts & boron ... You only need 3 tbls for 48 oz of peroxide / water mix .

God bless you Cecelia

Hi Cecilia,I hope all is going well & your lesions ( & 's) are nothing. If you did want to get a similar product to Lysol, I think the active ingredient is pretty widespread. I tried looking it up in Swedish but, since I can't speak Swedish I didn't get far. :~/ But I did find out the name of the active ingredient in Swedish is bensalkonklorid & I found this website, if that helps at all.

Hi Cecilia,

Just wanted to know if your little boy has got some more lesions, or if he is all better now.

I am so glad you are able to relax a bit from this nightmare and do less cleaning and washing and are hopefully able to enjoy life again.

I remember vaguely that this little thing called life can be enjoyable...

Hey C.  it is a cream - it comes in a plastic tube.

Gosh Cecilia, I don't know what to say. I am so sorry. You must be terribly

scared that this is all starting again. This is why i couldn't bring myself to

move although I kept dreaming about it for more than a year. Infact, I wanted to

run away from my job, house, partner, my own life. Really been through hell and

back out with absolutely no support of anyone...but this forum !

I tried to find an equivalent of Lysol in Sweden, but wasn't lucky. Been to a

forum where a German lady living in Sweden was complaining about the fact that

she could not get Sagrotan there. The German brand Sagrotan is nothing more but

a disinfectant spray. Is there really nothing like that to be found in Sweden ?

I can send you some bottles via mail, no big deal ! Just do let me know. Let's

hope it is just a rash of the bra like you said. Think I would have burnt that

thing straight away :-)

Warm hugs,

Best wash that bra in some liquid lye, borax, fels naptha, ammonia, let soak overnight. Spray your back and under breast with MMS, and take a MMS bath. Wash and shampoo with liquid lye as well.

Dear Aggi! Thanks for your support! Yes, I am so scared... Krys found a sight that recommended to buy a chemical thing that was the equivalent of the active ingredients in the Dettol, that was eqivalent to your Sagrotan. I hope I´ll be able to order it and mix it and that it will be the same thing. If not, I would off course be very greatful for your assistance. How do you use the Sagrotan?HugsCeciliaFrom:

I hope the lesions are of no significance, I have my fingers crossed for you.Burning incense might help while not being too intrusive in your new home. My mother has bought some lavender incense sticks as suggested by Rob, one could also use lavender in an oil burner. Or as Rob had success with the " livestock louse powder " which has the active ingredient p-Menthane-3,8-diol which is refined oil of Lemon Eucalyptus, what about burning oil lemon eucalyptus, harmless to humans but a deterrent to " bugs " ? Products containing p-Menthane-3,8-diol have been registered, in EU, under the brand name Citriodiol.

HI!After the move we don´t have a tub, only a shower, so baths is not possible, otherwise I would have tried it. We so wanted to live a normal life and I don´t think I have the power to go back to the regimen with cleaning and laundry and ironing everything everyday and plastic bags on everything. Just don´t konw how to endure that after fighting so hard and giving up everything. We have not started that again, but maby I should to not let the bugs strike even harder? My thought was to wait for a week and see if more lesions show up. If they do: start doing all things again...What do you all think?Am trying to get a hold of the Lysol-chemical though, it might be able to order from eu, but cost us some.Take care!CFrom: "Goldstein@..." <Goldstein@...>bird mites Sent: Sun, May 29, 2011 4:29:45 PMSubject: Re: Re: Something that is working for me
