Guest guest
Hi Guys, tonight I've been mopping the kitchen walls once more with the result that I can hardly feel my arms anymore. Good workout though ;-) While working my way through and realizing that I am washing off the paint gradually, I've been thinking if anyone has tried to just overpaint the mites that are sitting in the wallpaper. Under a fresh layer of thick paint they would just be suffocating I suppose. Any thoughts/experience on that ?
Guest guest
In fact, Aggi, I begin painting next week. I'm doing ceilings and walls, caucking everything, and replacing screens. My maintainace man is so impressed that I want to do my own painting, he said he will supply me with everything. I am even going to remove the toliets, wash them well and put a new bee's wax flang in. About washing walls. I've found an easy way. Fill garden sprayer with cleaning solution, spray large area of wall, and then go over with mop. Flat paint soaks up the water fast, so this has helped keep those walls clean. I intend to paint them with a semi-gloss l,atex. They wash easier. Guest guest
I've wondered the same thing Aggi. Painting is a lot of work. That would kill them, no doubt about it. But what about fibers? If they are floating, then you'd have to paint again. I think lots of people spray or use MMS or Bill's approach to get to the fibers too. Guest guest
Thanks for that hint ! I would definitely use latex as well, especially in the kitchen. That is by the way the only room I am getting attacked from above, think it's because the ceiling is lower compared to the other rooms. Infact, I am getting better by the day lately. Wow, that is really impressive that you are going to do all this work by yourself. How many rooms/square feet need decorating ? Guest guest
Hi , it is only the kitchen where I am getting attacked from above, so I probably go for painting there only. I have meanwhile received the MMS plus turbo citric acid, and am planning to do my first 'batch' on the weekend for a bath and use some in a spray bottle in the car. For the office I've got the Lysol equivalent today, see if that works on carpets. Besides, I am having no fibers nor fuzz balls in the house, so I might be lucky that way. I am also quite successful lately with Hugh's recipe, using white vinegar on body and scalp. It has made a big difference as the itchy scalp and crawling sensation has almost disappeared. For the very first time it really feels like I could win this battle. Amazing ! > > I've wondered the same thing Aggi. > > > Painting is a lot of work. That would kill them, no doubt about it. Guest guest
Hi Aggi, My kitchen ceiling is low too. That's were I was attacked. Since I was covered with a fungus, I assumed from my reading that it was the fluorescent light as fungus grows well under it. Do you have a fluorescent light in your kitchen? I have always loved to do construction type work. I've built a patio and deck, laid tile flooring, painted, remolded 2 bathrooms, put in counters and sinks, etc. I have a 2 bedroom so I assume it will take about a week. I like the idea of puttying and caucking my own holes and noocks as I will know my apartment by centimeter when I am finished. I am glad you are getting better by the day. What are you doing? Guest guest
You defenitely will know your appartment in and out after you're done Dear :-) If you still haven't got enough after completion, you are more than welcome to my house :-) But that is nice that you are liking this kind of work, at least you are going to enjoy and it is not like a burden or negative stress for you. Interesting with the fluorescent light... i am having inbuilt halogen spots, do you think they are safe ? I am not doing anything special. Taking MSM daily combined with DE has made a big difference for me. I have added Hugh's advice with the white vinegar to my daily routine, but instead of rinsing i use a spray bottle straight on the skin before going to bed plus pouring a big amount onto scalp and blow dry. In the morning after showering with sulfur soap, I pour some vinegar on the scalp first, followed by a leave-in conditioner that covers the vinegar odour straight away and blow dry. The itchy-crawly scalp is almost gone since i started this about a week ago. My next attempt in office and car is spraying Lysol, did a test spraying on the couches the other night and haven't been bothered there by a single mite !!! On top of all, this year we are having an exceptional dry and sunny spring I absolutely love, but am pretty sure the mites do hate it ;-) Did you get rid of your mites completely ? Are you doing anti-fungus treatment now only ? Guest guest
Well Aggi, I start in a few days my special fungal diet. I must finish deep cleaning, buy a water dispenser and water jugs that I will treat with MMS to make ph good, buy fresh food, and do the one day MMS treatment 1st. After being on the diet a week, I'll start to paint. Thought it better to wait as I've noticed fungal stuff disappearing around house and car as I think I was spreading it from my body. My body's skin looking so good as the fungal medication is clearing me fast. I did the vinegar on the head last night and will continue that, too. I am a teacher and don't have to go to work until August so I will let the vinegar smell:) I left the mites and some other weird critters at my old apartment. Threw out everything include new Mac computer and clothing. Collembola came with me but got rid of that with olive leaf. The medication has stopped the herpe's breakouts on the skin, and now I am down to funus. The beetles I think are gone, but not until I managed to get a couple of more specimins to show my dermatologist. I was aftraid I wouldn't collect anymore once she destroyed the last samples, but two, an adult and one breaking through the mycileum, fell out onto my forehead after applying a funus treatment. I'll make sure she lets me put them on the slide this time so she can't smash them again. I'm glad to hear you are coming along. I am so excited as so many are doing so much better in so many ways. Synergy is great! Keep us posted on your progress! Guest guest
Oh, about the lights. I don't know that much about it. I have been reading a lot about fungus and growth though. When I read that, I remembered that other teachers kept plants in the round part of the building where there were no windows. I remember them telling me that fluorescent lights will grow plants. From what I've briefly looked up on halogen lights, yes, they will grow plants. But, I don't have floaters in my kitchen or anywhere since I started spraying with the lysol. I don't expect to either now that my body is nearly clean. I think you are okay. Guest guest
Hello , got some more good news as after 8 dayys of vinegar treatment my scalp is totally mite-free !! I am so so happy about it. They still try to hang out in my hair, but the scalp feels absolutely great now, so vinegar defenitely is a winner for me. I tried apple cidre vinegar some months ago, but that didn't work at all. It has to be white vinegar. And as for the smell, it disappears after a while. The leave-in conditioner also works pretty well. Just sprayed on. So sorry for all the nasty things you have to deal with, but it sounds like you are getting better just like me. That is fantastic ! The fungal medication, is that the athleth's foot you are talking about ? And as for the diet, i have no clue what kind of diet that could be. Can you tell me ? I have always been a fungus candidate and i am very certain that the mites attacked me initially because i had a skin fungus at the time. Infact we were 2 people sitting in that office where it all started, but my colleague was not bothered, she had itchy eyebrows and that was it. > > > > > > From: Aggi <aggi_assmann@> > > Subject: Mopping walls versus painting > > bird mites > > Date: Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 8:57 PM > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > Hi Guys, tonight I've been mopping the kitchen walls once more with the result that I can hardly feel my arms anymore. Guest guest
Hi Aggi, Yes, just the ordinary athelete's foot cream and toe solutions you buy at the drug store. I've just searched and searched anti-fungal diets on the internet. I am eating black olives, eggs, lean meats, salmon, tuna, non-bagged leafy vegetables including cabbage, radishes, cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, seafood, lentles, onions, garlic, and quinoa (whatever that is) . No sugar or starches of any kind. I can have a little, but I won't start till weeks later, of almonds, seeds, stevia, peas, and brown rice. I can cook with coconut oil and need to take multivitamines. I can drink herbal teas and use all the anti-fungal spices I like. I'm treating 18 ounces of water with 3 drops of MMS activated to keep ph. Yes, I think with drawbacks and all, we are all on the mend. Knowledge is a great tool, and even though we have nests here, we know what to do. The vinegar is doing well for me, too. Hope to have the same report you do in a week. It's not mites in my hair, it's those gel-lke ladies again. They hate the vinegar:) Love and light, From: Aggi <aggi_assmann@...>Subject: Re: Mopping walls versus paintingbird mites Date: Saturday, May 28, 2011, 11:58 PM Hello , got some more good news as after 8 dayys of vinegar treatment my scalp is totally mite-free !! Guest guest
Hi , I am so happy that the vinegar is working for you too ! Are you using it on your skin as well ? I have gratefully noticed that the mites have stopped laying their eggs on me since the vinegar treatment. Think that is a big step of getting better. I will go and get the anti-fungal cream next and start up the diet you recommended. Many thanks for that! No sugar is gonna be the hardest, because I do love chocolate ;-) but I'll do whatever it takes to get rit of the beast. How long will I have to maintain the diet before getting results, do you know ? Still crossing my fingers that those nest are not going to harm you. Weather and rain have undone it again, And now you would never know There was once a road through the woods Before they planted the trees. It is underneath the coppice and heath, And the thin anemones. Only the keeper sees That, where the ring-dove broods, And the badgers roll at ease, There was once a road through the woods. Yet, if you enter the woods Of a summer evening late, When the night-air cools on the trout-ringed pools Where the otter whistles his mate. Guest guest
Hi Aggi, I think most people stay on the diet for a month, but I intend to continue it as a way of life while carefully adding mildly fungus type foods back. So, in a month, I may add some yeast free crakers. It's new to me, so we'll see what happens as time goes on. I sprayed the vinegar on my skin once, but my vinegar supply is low and I am most worried about my hair. I am keeping hair rinse going. It's Labor Day weekend here, so my pay check, which entered my account on Friday, will not really enter my account until Tuesday. I'll go shopping tomorrow. The fungal skin treatment is expensive. A 1 ounce tube, which covers the body in the morning, will cost about $6.99. I do a treatment at night, too, so that's about $15.00 a day. That's about $450. a month. One must do this for 6 weeks. I need to check the calendar, but I think I am near the end of week 4, so almost there:) I hope everything works for you. There is a nurse named, "Sara" that I hope to convince to move over to this website. She and my sister have talked, and she says she has Morg. My sister sent her to my Facebook page, but that is too public and risky for me. I sent her my email. If she shows up, I know all the folks here will have ample advise to help her. She said she really wants friends for support. Love and light, From: Aggi <aggi_assmann@...>Subject: Re: Mopping walls versus paintingbird mites Date: Sunday, May 29, 2011, 11:33 PM Hi , I am so happy that the vinegar is working for you too !Are you using it on your skin as well ? I have gratefully noticed that the mites have stopped laying their eggs on me since the vinegar treatment. Think that is a big step of getting better. I will go and get the anti-fungal cream next and start up the diet you recommended. Many thanks for that! No sugar is gonna be the hardest, because I do love chocolate ;-) but I'll do whatever it takes to get rit of the beast. How long will I have to maintain the diet before getting results, do you know ?Still crossing my fingers that those nest are not going to harm you.Take care,Aggi> > > > > > > > > From: Aggi <aggi_assmann@>> > > Subject: Mopping walls versus painting> > > bird mites > > > Date: Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 8:57 PM> > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Guys, tonight I've been mopping the kitchen walls once more with the result that I can hardly feel my arms anymore. (They fear not men in the woods, Because they see so few) You will hear the beat of a horse's feet, And the swish of a skirt in the dew, Steadily cantering through The misty solitudes, As though they perfectly knew The old lost road through the woods…. Guest guest
Well, Aggi. I did read one site that says black coffee is anti-fungal. Their reasoning was that the coffee bean and cocoa bean must have evolved to fight fungus as fungus has a tendency to take over everything in the rainforest. Sound reasoning. It's all the stuff like milk and sugar added that make it bad they say. I don't have that website, but it surely is worth looking into. I like to add sugary chocolate to mine. Not interested if it is not in it. So my reason for giving up coffee. The dark circles under my eyes are disappearing:) Love and light, From: Aggi <aggi_assmann@...>Subject: Re: Mopping walls versus paintingbird mites Date: Monday, May 30, 2011, 11:00 PM I agree with the 2 of you...
