Glad to hear you have recovered with the vinegar rinses. How did you do them?We have moved and haven´t had any bites or lesions on 3 out of 4 family members since. THe 1,5 year old in our family has had some small lesions, but that can be something else... It is hard to not do your old cleaning habits, but we are trying to only vacuum 2 a week and launder without chemicals and in normal heat settings (but using dry tumbler though). ALlways frightened to see more tracks of this and have found black specks 3 times since we moved 3 weeks ago, really wonder what that is and think might be on a track with thinking it can be some fungus-related things. : Is there any special brand of Lysol that you use? How did you find the beetle- how big is it and how do I look for

it?Take care all!CeciliaFrom: hughgrxtion2002 <hughgrxtion2002@...>bird mites Sent: Fri, May 20, 2011 4:52:48 AMSubject: I haven't posted in a while

I did vinegar rinses of my hair and body everyday for three weeks. That was almost two months ago. I am pretty much back to normal. I am extremely paranoid of any new itch or bite. I am constantly washing everything around me. Old habits die hard. Just an update people after two and a half years of hell.

Cecilia,

Lysol cleaner comes in many different scents. I used Lysol multi-surface cleaner "Complete Clean" the Orange Breeze. I don't know if the sent makes a difference. The all say they kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. I felt the bug but wasn't able to catch a sample until the night I made a large bath and put 1 cup of lysol in. I went under the water with my straw for breathing and kept combing my hair. My hair is only about an inch long, but I keep getting knotted tangles in it. I think it is from both the fungus mycieum growing around the hair roots and the bugs. I stay under until everything I feel is combed out. Then I come up. I found the bugs laying at the bottom of the tub. They looked just like tiny black spots. I put them on the slide and there they were. My first set, I placed a slide on top the save for my doctor's visit and found they breakup and

disolve into a puddle. That's why I am so upset the Dermatologist smashed my samples. I am getting better since the fungal cream and may not be able to get new samples. The feather-winged beetle is the smalles beetle known. It eats fungus, lays its eggs in the hypae, and has two teeth on its abdomine.

No. I shower down, pour it in my hair and let it flow down my body. Then I just

stand there for a few minutes before I rinse it off. Don't open your eyes, it

burns like hell. I get the big bottles at Walmart. A spray bottle helps as well.

I do it once a week now if I feel any activity.
