I'm so sorry sbm... I can understand just leaving it all behind. I know you are going to move and I don't blame you a bit, if you can do it. So many people do better when they move. A friend of mine with Morgellons that comes on this board sometimes was recently in the hospital and she had NOTHING biting or irritating her while in the hospital. When she went home, it was back to having biting and sensations. That was the same for me when we went to hotels to get a much needed break. But am so sorry about all the financial part of this. Oh please complain. Actually I think it is abnormal not to complain. We need someone to tell. It is significant. Everybody is affected in different ways, but needless to say, it is suffering. You have been through a lot. We all have been or still are. Yes, I do believe people over things. That's my mantra too. I so wish you and your family well.Hugs and more hugs, Springtails are back - HELP

Today I killed 7 in the sink, 6 in the shower and 10 in our kitchen. They are large enough to see and under the scope it is totally clear what they are. We are moving in 4 weeks. What do I do at this point? I can call the PCO back and have them over again since I collected the samples on tape but obviously what they are using isn't working. For me I know the mites came first and then the springtails invaded. Not sure how we got rid of them during the winter months - maybe we didn't but now their numbers are multiplying since I am finding them in numbers the house again. We used the Cedarcide fogger this am after I had a good cry....I don't currently have any bites but I am on anti-biotics and an anti-fungal....but I know it's a matter of time. I know the jury is out on whether or not they can bite but I believe they can 100% and that they particularly like the scalp/hair. This is hell. I don't want to bring them with us when move. Please please someone tell me how to kill them over the next few weeks. I've got Orange Guard and that seems to work on the floors short term but obviously it isn't enough given the rapid increase over the last 48 hrs.

I did look on the map and I am in the southeastern area of the US where it is found. See, I had 5 old bird nest blocking the outtake vent of my dryer. That "stuff" was getting on my clothing. That's when I got infected. I see a dermatologist on Wednesday. I want this identified. I think I have more than one type of fungus. I sported over 100 sores twice already during this year. I've been a walking calling card. Thanks for the info. I'm looking up A Fumigatus.

Love and light,

Since we are talking fungus....I was reminded of a paste my dr's used to have me make for the kids when their diaper rash was really bad.  Basically you mix equal parts of A & D ointment, Hydracortasone cream and athletes foot cream in a bowl and then apply.  I've got some new lesions on my legs (knew it was gonna happen once the bugs showed up) so I figured this might help heal things.  I will report back it I make any progress.  It did immediately stop the annoying tingling sensation I have in my lower legs for a few hours so that is good news.

I totally know for me the reason these bugs are attracted to be is fungus.  I take diflucan and Flagyl but results seem less than they used to be - or the springtails (and probably still mites) now are just outnumbering us again.  Wondering what the biggest gun is in the fungal fighting world?  I would like to quit taking anti-biotics or cycle them as I don't think it's good long term for the body but not sure how to go about this.  Some folks do 4 days on, 3 o

What is A & D ointment? My daughter's wholistic nutritionist told her that nothing can live in the body if you hold to a strick diet. She's been put on a vitamin diet. She is having vitamins through a drip treatment. I don't know much, and as she goes through moods, haven't talked to her in a while. This Chlez Bill is referring to did the candida diet. Totally strick. No sugar, carbs, coffee, vino, etc. I plan on doing this as soon as school lets out. >>>>>>>>>From: southernbugmom <zenmorgie@...>>>>Subject: Springtails are back - HELP>>>bird mites >>>Date: Thursday, May 12, 2011, 1:41 PM>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>OK - so two days ago I notice some springtails (collembola) in my sink - tried to not freak out so called our PCO - they treated yesterday. Sara,A & D ointment is used for diaper rash.  The label says cod liver oil (which contains vitamins A and D), light mineral oil and parafin wax.  Maybe I will regret using it.  The reason the memory of kids popped in my head was that my husband was telling me about a client of his who had terrible shingles.  She said the only relief she got from the tingling and stinging was by using A & D.  My kids sure got a lot of relief when we made the past with A & D, HC and athletes foot meds so I figured why not.
