Guest guest
Thanks, I moved 3 times and my environment improved, but what if I can't change my car 3 times? I do have a Jeep Wrangler. I used the Jeep all winter and would have thought that the Camry left out in cold below zero temperatures would have killed everything. Turns out that they were just waiting for better weather. The Wrangler has no cloth seat or lining of any kind - the floor coverings are gone, it has a worn canvas top and the rusty floor apparently is not to their liking. No place to really hide. But it's old and unreliable. I need to use the Camry. Is there any way I could get them out once and for all? Everything is lined with cloth and the seats are cloth. I have covered all the floor with 1/2 inch of earth demacious for 2 weeks - I tried covering the seats with plastic but I am ready to give up - there are so many places they could hide besides the floor and seats. Guest guest
Have you tried the MMS in the car as a spray once it is activated? What a predicament this is with houses and cars! Guest guest
Hi Doris I would use everything Here is my favorite list : http://www.fao.org/docrep/X5042E/x5042E01.htm Other ways that have been found effective in preventing and controlling infestations are as follows: 1. Sanitation. 2. Exclusion of pests. 3. Low temperature - " freeze-outs " , refrigeration, aeration. 4. High temperature - heating of mills. 5. Moisture control - grain drying. 6. Aeration - cooling, drying, elimination of temperature gradients. 7. Protectants - chemicals, inert dusts, natural compounds. 8. Residual or contact insecticides. 9. Atmospheric gases - carbon dioxide, nitrogen. 10. Gamma radiation, radio and sonic waves, microwaves, infra-red radiation. 11. Pheromones. 12. Insect growth regulators. 13. Insect pathogens. 14. Predators. 15. Insect resistant packaging. 16. Resistant varieties. An effective integrated pest management system should begin with comprehensive planning to include all aspects of the problem, followed by the application of preventive and control methods... Here is the list afain with my take on it , please if any body can add the the prodedures please do , thei bug is a menace & a destroyer , it need to be killed when present . I found baking soda sends it packing. I haven felt a bug barly since puffing it all over . If I do feel a bug I wooo slather it with 16 oz perox / 2 tbls borax /32 oz water, it die soon after , if it sosent which some are tenacious , apply yjr same mix again & then maybe som arm & hammer powdered laundry soap 3 tsp per gal of water , if it slill lives! betadine applied for 5 mins then rinsed 1. Sanitation. Borax 1 cup per gal of hot hot water & spic n span 1 cup 2. Exclusion of pests. Wash the outside often 3. Low temperature - " freeze-outs " , refrigeration, aeration. Quick freeze & then re warm they say helps ... 4. High temperature - heating of mills. ,,,,,, Oh yea , that's the ticket 170-200 weekly for 3 weeks , auto spray booth paint baker , call & find aan auto man who needs money or use a turbo heater, or a furnace bought used form a furnace guy with a tube leadimg to your car & thermometers inthe window facing out,,,,,, 5. Moisture control - grain drying. ,,,,,, Doris turn the heat up put down baking soda it is so dry & alkaline bug s hate it ,,,,,, 6. Aeration - cooling, drying, elimination of temperature gradients. ,,,,,, 7. Protectants - chemicals, inert dusts, natural compounds. ,,,,,, baking soda , powdered soap ,,,,,, 8. Residual or contact insecticides. ,,,,,, borax, boric acic , ant traps , aspertame from nutra sweet sprinled all over then misted with water to attract the bug moistre makes it more palatable & it kills ants I know & mites I believe ,,,,,, 9. Atmospheric gases - carbon dioxide, nitrogen. ,,,,,, c02 or nitrogen works like a charm ,,,,,, rent tanks at any welding shop 20lb tank for a car 5.00 per month the rent & $12.68 to fill at the welding shop . Never breath any of it , that why it is calle poison gas , air out area gassed for 5-8 hrs ,,,,,, c02 attracts bugs so wash the car oun the outside to smothe them in the soap also , notrogen does not attract bug ,abut you get leass gas for the money , but it works , most oraganic vegatable are gase with c02 or notrogen ,,,,,, 10. Gamma radiation, radio and sonic waves, microwaves, infra-red radiation. ,,,,,, bug sonic repellers , ,,,,,, 11. Pheromones. ,,,,,, Strong scented carpet fresh ,,,,,, ant traps with attractarants in it ,,,,,, 12. Insect growth regulators. ,,,,,, nyllar ,,,,,, 13. Insect pathogens. ? I don't under stand thei one , does anyone else ? 14. Predators. ,,,,,, I don't want to release more bugs ,,,,,, But I pray my body will learn to resist the bug , 15. Insect resistant packaging. ,,,,,, put all in bags & power the inside with baking soda & borax 16. Resistant varieties. ,,,,,, change up the weapons constantly so the bug can't figure them out & adapt bye , Nite , God is Love He will help ...., Bill On Tue Mar 22nd, 2011 10:43 PM EDT Doris Kennedy wrote: >Thanks, I moved 3 times and my environment improved, but what if I can't change >my car 3 times? Guest guest
H Doris This is Shans approach to cars , she said she beat the bug in 2 moths She powdered her car with : 75 % de 25 % pyritherin power ( flea powder ) she says the combo is the ticket then she burns menthol crystals ( I believe the menthol causes the bug to run from its intense & over whelming fumes when it is heated in a concentrated amount. I can't stay in the room with it , nothing can , it smells good but to powerful to be around while it is being heated ..... & it make the bug run , thus thru the powder poison Buy it at Ypslant Co-op 734-483-1354,office $18. per 1/2 lb enough for 40 treatments of 1 room 12X12 . Shan said she washed her car with Xtreme clean , it is 80.00 per gallon , I found the same ingredients in vetnary kennel wash called a-33 m it is .40 cents for 1 packet and it makes 1 gallon . Shan said the Xtreme clean stopped the bug , then she used Nylar growth regulator & they didn't return till she opened a box that they had forgotten to 'fumagate with the powder they used .. Here is a letter from a birdmite forum poster who used Xtreme clean PASTED POST FROM THE PAST > >>If the ozone thing works, I would like to try it for my car also, I have moved 3 >> >>times, but the bug incubator (my car) is still infested, sometimes it goes down > >>a little, but then they bulk up again. >> >> >> >> >>________________________________ >>From: Aggi <aggi_assmann@...> >>bird mites >>Sent: Tue, March 22, 2011 5:37:37 PM >>Subject: How about ozone? >> >> >>Hi All, >> >>Has anyone ever been successful by using ozone generators for killing birdmites? >> >>I have learnt that ozone kills every living organism in the air, e.g. bacteria, > >>fungus, mold, dustmites. Guest guest
Hi Z M Tha baking soda ia amizing isn't it & m the epsom is a huge seterent , heard sprinling t around gabage cans will even make racoon who come to the can never return ..... Reminds me of the bad eggs I accidently ate yesterday & even tried today not sure what caused the huge stomach wrench , I will never go near them again . ...EVER , ( no constipation from those eggs , very simalar ,(sort of) to the effect of epsom salts . , if you can't beat them , drive them away .... : ) Eospm will frive any thing far away I spray 1 cup & 3 cups water on ants & they never return ..It beats the bug too . But is does cause rusting of metal so I try to taper off to borax after the initial epsom spray soaking for 2-3 weeks of every thing if the infestation is bad . I have read of 40 posters using epsom as a weapon bu never rubbed in dry ,thanks To nit I went in to my worst truck I own , I havvent been in it in 4 months , it is a bug mobile, I have slaoughtered it with evety bom p windex , borax , antifreeze, bleach, c02 , oil etc . Weel tonit ei wen in to get the battery & charge it & I got a few bites I rubbed dry arm & hammer powdered laundry soap on the bites , the burned only at the pin point of their bite & the dissappered & I fell no more , it has been 1.5 hrs .... Its miracle . I didn't have to pray myseld in the face with peroxide & borax , or epsom or any liquid only wipe on a 1/16 teasp of arm & hammer powdered laundry soap. Thank God . . Guest guest
Hi Group. I did buy the ant traps and they didn't work. Sometimes, with these mitey mites, you need something a little more powerful. I did remove the carpet from the driver's side floor. What works really well is CYONARA mixed with an INSECT GROWTH REGULATOR NYLAR. These can be purchase from doyourownpestcontrol dot com. Mix a small amount with water and put it in a spray bottle and spray the areas where you sit in the car, the floor, the seat, the back of the seat and a small amount on steering wheel and stick shift. The mites DO NOT travel to other seats in the car, only where you sit. Make sure you spray the ceiling above your head, too. Use a hot wash cloth and clean the seat, floor, ceiling, steering wheel, stick shift. You can also spray 91% alcohol, too. Don't forget about the seat belts, as you handle the seat belts and mites will fall from your hand to whereever you touch. Someone once told me that you can spray many things, but WIPING UP IS NECESSARY, and IT WORKS. If you have the energy, vacuum the driver's side area, too. I tried the CO2 tanks; extremely expensive, it costs $120 per tank and over $20 for a refill; they DO NOT WORK. I tried the extreme heat treating - NOT A GOOD IDEA, dangerous and expensive and IT DOESN'T WORK. I tried the menthol cyrstals, didn't work. Removing the carpet DID WORK. I know that removing the carpet is extreme and ugly, but it beats getting bit up and reinfested every time you drive your car. When you are dealing with something as powerful as invisible biting mites, the car acts as an incubator for these mites, you need to take drastic steps, but co2 tanks and extremely heat treating does not work. Ozone will destory things inside your car, like rubber, etc. Cyonara and Nylar did work for me. Best to spray when getting out of your car, when you are finished using it. When the car is in use, OPEN THE WINDOWS. Take care, Mel > > Some of the newer posters here are not familiar with this person but I spoke with SOM today. Make sure you spray the ceiling above your head, too.Use a hot wash cloth and clean the seat, floor, ceiling, steering wheel, stick shift. You can also spray 91% alcohol, too. Don't forget about the seat belts, as you handle the seat belts and mites will fall from your hand to whereever you touch. Someone once told me that you can spray many things, but WIPING UP IS NECESSARY, and IT WORKS. If you have the energy, vacuum the driver's side area, too.I tried the CO2 tanks; extremely expensive, it costs $120 per tank and over $20 for a refill; they DO NOT WORK. I tried the extreme heat treating - NOT A GOOD IDEA, dangerous and expensive and IT DOESN'T WORK. I tried the menthol cyrstals, didn't work.Removing the carpet DID WORK. Ozone will destory things inside your car, like rubber, etc.Cyonara and Nylar did work for me. Best to spray when getting out of your car, when you are finished using it. When the car is in use, OPEN THE WINDOWS.Take care,Mel > > Some of the newer posters here are not familiar with this person but I spoke with SOM today. Guest guest
Many Thanks :-) I've just realized that i am using a cleaner with d-limonene already for quite some time. Don't know how much is in there, but it says on the label 'orange cleaner with d-limonene'. You just gave me some new ideas, because there are these big outdoor candles, supposed to keep the critters away sitting on your patio at night. I know that these also have d-limonene in them. I will go and burn some in the house while i am at work and vent thoroughly coming back in. I am happy for you that you cleared yourself of these horrible pests. What did you do internally though ? Guest guest
Hi. Yeah, Cyonara and Nylar are toxic, but I used so many things, most toxic, in my car. After the removal of the carpet, things got better in there. That's why I say to open the windows. It's being sprayed on the floor of the car and a small amount on seats. This works better than anything else I have used. I guess it all depends on how infested you are, as a person, as to how the car does, too. Take Care, Mel From: Doris Kennedy <kean2465@...>Subject: Re: Re: How can I clean the car once and for allbird mites Date: Saturday, March 26, 2011, 9:40 AM From: iggydoll <iggydoll@...>bird mites Sent: Sat, March 26, 2011 5:20:22 AMSubject: Re: How can I clean the car once and for all That sounds very positive, maybe I won't buy ten thousand ant traps. But how toxic is it for humans? I'm trying hard to stay away from poisons. I previoulsy thought of removing the carpets in the car, both front seats are infested. Moreover, it's not a new car anyway and they are filthy. It's the weeek-end and I think I will do that. The seats are cloth, but I cover them with plastic. Thank you so much, this site offers more than any professional service, medical, emotional, or exterminator company. Guest guest
Hi Z M Also I tead this http://www.fao.org/docrep/X5042E/x5042E01.htm Other ways that have been found effective in preventing and controlling infestations are as follows: 1. Sanitation. 2. Exclusion of pests. 3. Low temperature - " freeze-outs " , refrigeration, aeration. 4. High temperature - heating of mills. 5. Moisture control - grain drying. 6. Aeration - cooling, drying, elimination of temperature gradients. 7. Protectants - chemicals, inert dusts, natural compounds. 8. Residual or contact insecticides. 9. Atmospheric gases - carbon dioxide, nitrogen. 10. Gamma radiation, radio and sonic waves, microwaves, infra-red radiation. 11. Pheromones. 12. Insect growth regulators. 13. Insect pathogens. 14. Predators. 15. Insect resistant packaging. 16. Resistant varieties. An effective integrated pest management system should begin with comprehensive planning to include all aspects of the problem, followed by the application of preventive and control methods... Bye , Pray hard & hit them from every angel, it is a bug kill it , it will die , Bill Old email below this line ....... Tha baking soda ia amizing isn't it & m the epsom is a huge seterent , heard sprinling t around gabage cans will even make racoon who come to the can never return ..... Guest guest
Aggi My internal is controversial, I did MMS. I also bathed with MMS. Along with the MMS I did MSM and flower of sulfur. The spring remedy is something I found very helpful during my MMS treatment. After finishing the detox with MMS I would ramp up on antioxidants and probotics, and prebotics. During the detox I would take no antioxidants or probotics. http://jimhumble.biz/ http://www.ehow.com/way_5657368_sulfur-molasses-home-remedy.html http://www.oldtimeremedies.co.uk/labels/sulphur.html -- In bird mites , " Aggi " <aggi_assmann@...> wrote: > > Many Thanks :-) I've just realized that i am using a cleaner with d-limonene already for quite some time.
